  1. Just had a tin o' Heinz tomato soup followed by Walkers ready salted crisps and the crisps are really tasting like peanuts.
  2. Bobby Fischer Against the World Tremendous documentary following the life of chess legend Bobby Fischer as he defeated Soviet world champion Boris Spassky in 1972, made chess suddenly rock n roll. and subsequently went into mental meltdown. Fischer at his peak had a strange charisma about him which I found really appealing. Sad to see how he degenerated into such a paranoid rambling character. I really dug Spassky's cool rockabilly hairstyle. Note - you don't need to care about chess to appreciate this film. 8/10
  3. Just remembered this nugget from before Christmas: 'Just lost my job. No warning. f**k all.''What is that all about pal?''Boss said I was taking parcels home with me. But everybody does it.'
  4. It does seem to be a strange phenomenon with footballers on Twitter going on about Nandos, glad you noticed it too. I've never been personally, Nandos hasn't travelled to this northern wasteland yet.
  5. You're getting your times mixed up. ICT/Ross County were admitted to the league in '94. Elgin and Peterhead a few years later under different reconstruction. Anyway, Thistle were truly shite and would never have had a chance on their own.
  6. The fact that you could even be accused of being a Sandy alias is bad enough.
  7. Thanks for your nonsense. Sorry but i don't support the old firm. In fact, i usually root for Ross County and was hoping they'd get promoted. I might think twice now. Any other baseless theories? Edit - The world is so against me, aarrrrrrgggggggghhhh!
  8. Watched 12 Angry Men today. Twas great. 9/10
  9. Alive and well?!? Caley are dead whilst ICT are rock bottom of the worst league in the world. You are also off the invite list for the museum opening.
  10. Sandy is unfortunately unavailable. I've been trying to contact him all season but he's been pretty quiet. Don't worry, all round media whore Terry Butcher will accept any showbiz invitation.
  11. As I'm getting hold of more and more Caley merchandise I'll upload photos on here. There'lll be more to come over the next few months. Some pretty rare stuff too and one exceptional item which is pretty much priceless: Here's part 1: 1993/94 training top. Too much red in there for me.
  12. Very tempted to go along just for this reason.
  13. Wow that's pretty amazing stuff.
  14. Currently a 'trending' topic on Twitter is that she may have been found. No idea what the proof of this it's probably total rubbish. However...
  15. The new Horrors album - Skying. It's ok on first listen. Edited to add: It's £3.99 to download it from Amazon this week.
  16. Kill the Irishman Fairly laughable film based on the life of Irish-American gangsta Danny Greene. This story of how he took on the Cleveland mob in the 1970s would have been a story worth telling. However, the just plain wrong casting of Ray Stevenson with a comedy haircut as Greene, tiresome Irish mythology and cliched gangster film schtick make one piss poor film. I laughed out loud about 4 times when i wasn't supposed to. Christopher Walken and Vincent D'Onofrio must be fairly desparate (or just lazy) to take parts in this kind of fare. 1/10
  17. Morrissey at Inverness Ironworks in June. If my brother pulls through with the ticket.
  18. The Nicholas Cage hairdo is something to behold though.
  19. Somewhere Lost in Translation in LA. Only this time it's a disillusioned hollywood actor and his daughter rather than a disllusioned hollywood actor and Scarlett Johansson. Not a lot happpens. I thought it was rather sweet but my girlfriend thought it was rubbish. 6/10
