  1. Great film. Seen them at T in the park a couple of times. They seemed like nicer people then.
  2. They're fantastic live. Enjoy.
  3. Game being off is good news. I couldn't go as the in-laws are visiting.
  4. Thee Marvin Gays - a fine garage rock band. I had this album 6 months before I read they were from Belgium. I also just realised it was a woman singing this song:
  5. Yeah the updates on these are infrequent and random to say the least!
  6. According to Clach's Facebook/Twitter feed the club's lottery of £18750 has been won - the biggest ever football club lottery in the Highlands. Rumours that it was won by the chairman's wife are totally unfounded.
  7. Haven't looked in the Big Rangers Liquidation thread for some time but I'm sure it's fascinating stuff.
  8. Nice gathering of Hearts fans arrived at the game today and were good fun, singing throughout the match. Easy 4-0 win for Clach. It was freezing.
  9. I've been going high brow over Christmas: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - 7/10 Cars - 8/10 Brave 5/10 Kung Fu Panda - 6/10
  10. Almost stocked up for the festive period. Merry Christmas everyone:
  11. Postponed! Unlucky mate, hope you didn't travel too far.
  12. It's another terrace Waspie - separate from the Wine Shed. There were 3 stands along the side where now stands the only stand. Looked like a cricket ground. Marvellous. Another Clach pic One more of Kingsmills More Caley Action - Beautiful
  13. Tomorrow's, like, Mad Friday/Black Friday and there isn't a thread on it yet. There usually is. Don't want to make one myself.
  14. Pretty perfect. I've been informed that these pics are from the Bob Lilliman archives! Groundtastic will be posting pics of Clach park and Jags park later. Edit: Clach Park Kingsmills Main Stand Kingsmills Shed
  15. Some fantastic pictures of Telford Street from the 'Groundtastic' Twitter feed: Main Stand Distillery End Howden End 1970s pics I presume. Edited to add - from 1981.
  16. Cool. If this hangover wears off I will go.
  17. I'm going to this, but only because my wife likes them. Nothing against Ben Folds Five, they've got a few good songs. It's just that it's not something I'd choose to drive to Glasgow to see.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiuEboromno
  19. I've never worn them but I don't go to gigs that regularly. Twice I could've done with them - Dinosaur Jr at The Venue in Edinburgh 4/5 years ago. Ears were ringing the next day. Also a couple of weeks ago after Ty Segall I couldn't really hear out of my right ear the next day. I was standing pretty close to the amps mind you.
  20. Antiviral - First film directed by David Cronenberg's son. Set in a world where the population sign up to willingly be infected with the same virus their celebrity heroes have. This is a nicely weird film. 6/10 Safety Not Guaranteed - Magazine journalists investigate a story whereby a man has placed an advert asking for volunteers to time travel with him. This has some nice ideas but goes nowhere, isn't particularly as quirky and funny as it wants to be. 3/10
  21. Ty Segall on Friday night was absolutely immense. Broadcast (new venue on Sauchiehall St) is an absolutely tiny basement venue. Found ourselves at the front with crowd surfing going on all around and above and generally being pushed every which way. Clothes were ringing with sweat afterwards but wow, what a gig.
  22. Absolutely can't wait for Ty Segall at the Art School on November 9th with my man crush Mikal Cronin on bass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVoTgsoy7AY
  23. He must be on stronger stuff than drink: Calvin Harris ‏@CalvinHarrisBiffy Clyro best band to ever come out of Scotland. now i'm going to bed xxxx
  24. Ha! More like the usual 150 crowd which is a shame as the set up is much improved. The ground is looking a good bit tidier, there was a matchday programme, there's now also a Clach merchandise shop. Clach are a decent side too. To win by 2 goals having been down to 10 men for the majority of the match against Steve Paterson's Formartine is not bad at all.
