  1. I got it to work earlier without the second T but someone saying online that the original code now works.
  2. I just setup the app and tried. Didn’t work even though I followed all the steps and pasted the code directly from their email Select ‘Mtickets’ tab then set your region to Glasgow Network Select ‘Day’ category and add your Adult Day Ticket to your basket. Enter code: (TBC) at checkout.
  3. The reaction to the potential signing of McDaid makes me wonder what some people would have made of Lambie’s signings if they’d had widespread social media back then. Regularly we signed ‘duds’ on free transfer from Accies, Falkirk, Dundee etc, who then went onto be great players for us. Now some people start hunting players out the door in response to an internet rumour, let alone an actual transfer.
  4. The game in hand was against ICT. Two 3-1 wins from two matches against them in the aborted season. Not unreasonable to believe we could have secured 3 points if that game had been played.
  5. If I was putting in my own money to allow the club to secure a long term sustainable cash and player stream and someone told me that a venture capitalist would be reaping the benefits instead I’d stop the funding too. But then I couldn’t find a photo of me supporting the Jags before the club started photographing the crowds a few years ago so I can’t prove my credentials as a fan of 45 years and a season ticket holder of 35+ years
  6. Both were confirmed by the manager a few weeks ago https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50791778
  7. Do you shut your eyes when Miles Storey is on the pitch? That waster showed again today that he knows little other than getting his head down and running as fast as he can towards the opposition byeline?
  8. The release of Doolan & Erskine will be a small and distant memory if we are successful this season. If we aren’t then it will be a stick to beat the manager with. I’m sure he knows how big a call it was to make so let’s hope his judgement isn’t ill placed.
  9. I’m sure GC knows what needs done, and I’m sure AA did last year - but he couldn’t make it happen so we had a scramble in August. When we look back at last season the model of success for me was Ross County who did all their work early (8 signings by the end of June) and allowed their team to gel through preseason and the cup games. They hit the ground running in August, and boosted their squad with 3 core signings. The words of GC in the summer made me think that was going to be his approach but unless our squad is going to be light in numbers it appears we will be replicating the AA approach of hoping players settle in quickly after being signed once the competitive games start.
  10. I think that lineup from yesterday shows just how little depth there is in our squad currently. If we need one or two for next Saturday then we need five or six for the start of the league campaign.
  11. He schooled us so much that we took 7 points from 12 against his team, lost just once to them all season, and we finished above them in the league. Hopefully every other team on the league will similarly ‘school’ us this season.
  12. I have it on good authority (my boy was chatting to Maxwell's relation at a party) that he is in fact a sellick supporter. Maybe he's just not an arsehole sellick supporter. I've heard they exist. I knew him when he was a kid 13-15ish and he was a Rangers supporter then.
  13. Just read the online version. Where does he say he’s been ready to leave since Caldwell came in? Is this different to the newspaper version? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3771533/livingston-chris-erskine-partick-thistle-gary-caldwell/amp/
  14. For players to thrive they need to be used in a way that they can be at their best. Erskine may not have hit the high levels he was previously capable of in recent months but it’s clear that some better performing clubs than us think he would be a worthwhile addition to their squad. Look at Lawless last season with us and look at him this season with Livi. If used right then players like him and Erskine are an asset. And boy do we need assets right now. AA and GC are both culpable for not utilising those talents to the best of their ability. AA has gone because of his decision making. GC will surely follow, either sooner or later. When it all shakes out Thistle will be in a worse position as a result of GCs decision to let Erskine in favour of keeping Storey at the club and in the first 11. Our road back will be harder.
  15. Just checked where? This site lists all competitive games and he only scored a few https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ally-roy/leistungsdaten/spieler/328430 just seen that this doesn’t include FAI Cup games, so presumably he rattled a few in aganisnt non league amateur teams.
  16. Can I say as well that this is just a snapshot based on raw numbers. Look deeper and you see that we beat Morton twice pre Caldwell but have lost twice to the same team since he came in. We’ve also had the benefit of playing what were when we played them the two bottom teams in the league 3 times and taken 1 point from 9. Easier games, poorer points return.
  17. Let’s look at that claim in a bit more depth...... Falkirk pre-McKinnon 3 league games 0 points = 0 PPM Falkirk post-McKinnon 16 league games 13 points = 0.81 PPM St Mirren pre-Kearney 4 league games 3 points = 0.75 PPM St Mirren post-Kearney 17 league games 9 points = 0.53 PPM Dundee pre-McIntyre 8 league games 3 points = 0.375 PPM Dundee post-McIntyre 13 league games 7 points = 0.54 PPM Thistle pre-Caldwell 9 league games 9 points = 1.00 PPM Thistle post-Caldwell 10 league games 5 points = 0.5 PPM So GC has the worst record of all 4 bosses, and he has experienced the biggest drop in PPM of all 4. He took over the team in the healthiest position of all (averaging a point a game) but has failed to build on that strength and has taken his team backwards, quite significantly. I’d say that your claim doesn’t stack up.
  18. Or unless we were wise enough to offer an unemployed manager a contract with low value termination terms. To be clear GC was looking for a way back into football, we held the aces so should have been wise enough not to sign up to a contract that left us liable for a two year wage bill if we needed to terminate. Do we honestly think that GC would have rejected us if we’d said 3 months wages is the maximum comp if either party is ending the contract? I’m not sure though that our board are that clever.
  19. Aye and Lambie could take an average team and motivate it to get results. Do you remember an elderly and ill JL taking over for 3 games and getting a big home win over league leaders Falkirk? He motivatedand energised Armand One to a spectacular brace of goals. Do you remember GC taking over and losing to bottom of the table Alloa? He motivated and energised no one.
  20. Black striker was Jordan Kemoe from our u17 squad https://ptfc.co.uk/club/thistleweiracademy/squads/
  21. I see that Sean Welsh has signed with Falkirk. I liked Sean in the team and wish him well. https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/falkirk-fc/bairns-make-new-year-s-day-double-swoop-1-4651908
  22. Me too. Have resigned myself to Twitter refreshes in order to keep up with events in Perth.
  23. From the BBC page Tom English "In terms of chances created, Rosenborg were miles ahead of Celtic. Four outstanding moments that they could've converted. As it is, Celtic have survived a horrendous night." Pat Bonner "I still think Celtic will go through and they'll be much better next week. They'll have to be sharper and I think they'll come out on top." What is Bonner's observation based on other than blind loyalty to Celtic? How is it journalism if you ignore facts and make random statements? He could be right, as we all know football isn't cut and dried but I can't help but think his standing and frequent invite to speak at Celtic supporters events could be compromised if he said otherwise. Do we not deserve a media that aren't afraid to upset the OF? http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/40730582
  24. Alternatively Reading had decided they weren't taking him forward in their plans and were happy to get him off their wage bill - effectively bringing them a saving far in excess of any transfer fee - so we paid no more than a nominal fee to them.
