  1. Ross is gone! http://www.cowdenbeathfc.com/index.php?act=viewNews&id=3374 Interesting times. Huge decision as to who the next guy is. Davo wanting a manager's job?
  2. Would be happy to be involved. I'm away up by Peterhead nowadays so I'll easy write our a story or something for you to read out? Not sure anybody wants to hear my voice
  3. Marnie has opened a boxing gym in London so I imagine she's wanting to start a chain. She'll win.
  4. Why the feck are people deleting their accounts and others announcing that they are done with the club? Have I missed something?
  5. Well 1 down Utterly useless again last night. It was just a shambles. I wish they'd have a season with actual competent people.
  6. Just finished watching the first 2 series. Excellent TV. Great characters and while it's not laugh out loud funny it does amuse me greatly. Roy Kent is just phenomenal.
  7. You make some fair points. I'm not a huge fan of Maurice myself from my personal encounters with him and I've not made a match this season so I'm not really able to pass comment. However you are going way over the top on the board. One of your comments is about offering cheap days for entry. We've 100% done that in the past. Hell do we not offer a Kids go Free thing just now for Under 12s? It's £30 for a season ticket for Under 16s as well so the club have done plenty to encourage the next generation through the gates. The only thing that will improve attendances is having a winning team. I don't believe us changing manager will automatically mean we'll start winning every game. Letting Maurice goes means a whole new coaching team comes in, who will no doubt want their own players in and we go through the same cycle again. We're going to have a couple of seasons in the middle of the Lowland League because financially we can't afford to compete with other clubs at the top of the table. It's as simple as that. Finally was the youth team not stopped because the league changed? I might be totally wrong but it's why the Fife Academy was made?
  8. This has to be the worst group of candidates yet. Nobody seems to have a clue really and in most other series Mark would have gone weeks ago. Good riddance though as he was appalling There must just be 1 candidate with an absolute dynamite business plan. Sugar wants in so they need to make sure they win. I'm not sure which of the candidates would have an interesting enough business plan based on their backgrounds below. The final 5 will be: Marnie, Megan, Simba, Victoria and Bradley.
  9. Continues another week. Has anybody actually impressed? Joe was the one person who I liked so far this series
  10. Last nights episode summed up that they've really been dumbing down the contestants over the last few years. Not one person so far has shown any business acumen. It's bloody entertaining though.
  11. Yeah I fair enjoyed season 3. Cosmo is excellent.
  12. I've been overweight since my honeymoon 4 years ago. I've tried a few things to get back down to about mid 14 stone but I'm currently floating around the high 15, low 16. I'm looking to get back into some sort of sport this year and we've started turning the garage into a gym so we'll see how we go. I just need to finish off the rest of the Xmas chocolate
  13. Thought that was a pish decision from Sugar.
  14. My Dad is a die-hard fan and used to go to all the home games. I distinctly remember laughing at him coming home after Inverness had scored twice in stoppage time to win 4-3. Why would I want to support that rubbish I thought to myself. Then the moment came. He offered to up my pocket money by a tenner if I came along to a few games with him. First match I remember was a midweek game - Cowdenbeath 1 v 2 Ross County. We scored a last minute consolation and then missed a tap in right after. It was the coldest I'd ever been. It was the first time I'd heard so many people swearing and I thought it was the most amazing experience on Earth. The smell of bovril and folk smoking on the terraces created an intriguing aroma for the 9/10 year old me. By the time the next home game came round I'd warmed up and was wanting to go. Barely missed a match for years before I moved away to Aberdeen. Fairly sure he's going to send me a bill for the pocket money that I 'earned' going to something I was actually enjoying anyway.
  15. My son is at that age now where he can suddenly appear from nowhere after a nap. He's sleeping on the couch or on a wee cushion thing and you're just going about your day making lunch or whatever. All of a sudden this tiny wee half-asleep dishevelled child wanders into the room with his hands up in the air for you. Beyond cute.
  16. Biggest problem I have with this is....
  17. Watched the first episode last night. It's full of cliches, poor acting and horrendous accents. However I had fun pointing out to my wife all the sights of Aberdeen. They sure love driving along the beach front.
  18. All episodes appear to be on Iplayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0db97z4/granite-harbour-series-1-episode-1 Will need to check it out.
  19. Did you down it and make off without paying? Managed about half the glass
  20. Not my pick. I was having a burger I swear
  21. Just after the waitress poured me my glass of red wine
  22. Police and bomb disposal at the east end of Princes St just now. Just been evacuated out of the Ivy restaurant. Can't see anything on Twitter or Facebook so has anybody seen anything?
  23. Looks like one of the worst shirts Shaughan has worn tonight. Looking forward to it.
