The updated podcast seems to just be adding a brass section.

The 1st half of the double season it seemed like every shot on target would be a goal.
Probably not the position you want form reliance.

Sky sports got the rights starting today?

<Team A> hasn't beaten <team B> in 5 attempts yet 4 were draws.
I've always thought Win Percentage was weird stat for a sport with 3 outcomes.
Works for Americans but reasonably half you're games could be draws.

No-one ever gets booked for diving anymore? You would think VAR would increase that.

What happened to the Ross County team that battered us in Dingwall?
Might be the best team & worst team we've played this season.

Guess the players will be out early waiting ages for ko getting cold today.

I'd like to propose the the top league is now tin pot & all these should be discounted. Only 2 teams ever win it & therefore should not be counted as a major competition.

We've scored 5 all season but a 2-0 win would mean we're not bottom.

I thought he was doing fine til the red card, then he completely lost the run of it. Crazy challenge by Costello and he can have no complaints at all. But after that some of the decisions were crazy. I’ve never seen a keeper booked for timewasting when they’ve actually only been in possession of the ball for about two seconds. The Considine injury was a nonsense too-clear foul not given then he’s made to stay off the park for ages when he’s clearly ready to come back on while Killie launch a dangerous attack. Why?
Great to start a game so well and our response to conceding what was from our side of it a poor goal was encouraging. Still lots to work on but it’s a step in the right direction.
Maybe harsh but was fouls on Mitov & May along with Considine just waved play on.
Believe you need to stay off for 30 seconds now to avoid time wasting.
East stand assistant seemed to be spooked by the terrible offside call for 1st goal & got so many wrong.
Not sure about the red, was forceful but more a trip than studs up. Probably less than the Gordon red card that was overturned.

That ref, what a fucking cheat!

What is a 'family club'?

All aboard for this, also weakens the team we're most likely to catch.
He isnt getting Aberdeen/Hearts/Hibs so is going to be another smaller top flight club.

Tough choice. Do you pick someone who likely gjves you a good chance of staying up but leaves you long term issues (Neilson, Alexander, probably Yogi), or do you look longer term and take the short term pain?
Id rather avoid those 3 tbh, but we definitely need someone whos made mistakes elsewhere.
Lennon shouldnt really be considered.
Paul Hurst, recently sacked by Grimsby, looks an interesting choice to me. Lots of underlying reasons outwith his control for his slipping back down the leagues and out of jobs, who maybe just needs a change to kick start his career. Think thats the route for us.
Do you think there's any short term hope?

Not even going to be a funny relegation like Dundee United just worse that every team & lose 2/3-0 every week.

I'm not as opposed to the super league as many are. Some clubs have outgrown their domestic setups so why persist with what we've got or wish it could be what it was 50yrs ago. Let some of the bigger clubs form a super league of 18/36 and leave them to it. I would still watch it and I would be more likely to return to the domestic game knowing it is a fairer fight.
I sort of agree with this but must be ability for clubs to get promoted & relegated.
Getting the Colts in the league is all about having a presence when they eventually leave IMO.

Or maybe, just a thought, actually signing a fucking striker?
I'm not sure any striker would score a lot for us, we dont create any chances.

I do wonder if we've thought about (wait, here me out) getting players in the opposition box & having some shots?

Playoffs to decide champions is the equivalent of making sure everyone gets a medal at a primary school sports day.
You could still give a trophy for winning the regular season. Quadruple chat is inevitable.

So basically if Steve Lomas didn’t allegedly allegedly allegedly then St Johnston wouldn’t have won the double?
We may still have 0 trophies instead of 3.
