I hadn't checked who was supporting until a few days ago, was delighted to find out it was The Wonder Years It was just a spontaneous decision on my part, the girl who I'm going with over the weekend suggested the Yellowcard gig so I thought why not. It has turned out to be a very good decision!

Theory of a Deadman, Black Stone Cherry and Alter Bridge at the SECC on Sunday. The Wonder Years, Saves the Day and Yellowcard at the Garage on Monday. An awesome busy two days for me

Fozzy tonight at the Cathouse. I just bought the ticket as I fancied a night out in Glasgow and my mates are off to see Evanescence and Arctic Monkeys so needed something to do while they were there.

I'm just back from Ibiza and I went to see Example headline Ibiza Rocks supported by Sub Focus. Example was just average, a poor head-liner. Sub Focus nailed it and on that performance would have been a worthy head-liner, DJ Doorly then filled the next 40 minutes before Example and picked up where Sub Focus had left off. Very impressed with both acts. Then it just fell flat when Example finally came on, a poor end to an overall decent gig. I also managed to see 50 Cent playing at Amnesia for MTV. I'm not really into rap music but he was impressive and kept me entertained at least. It was a novelty act for me but one that I am glad I went to see.

3 Doors Down were awesome at the 02! Brad Arnold is an incredible live singer.
  6. Do Savage Garden count as a guilty pleasure? I have both their albums and their greatest hits, was listening to their Affirmation album about two hours ago. A girl I work with said she worries about me sometimes when she heard it was on. I just think they are awesome!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. They certainly exceeded my expectations of them by some margin.

Happy to report that Young Guns were excellent! It should be a good year for them with a slot on the main stage at leeds giving them more exposure. They were supported very well by both The Outcry Collective and Save Your Breath.
