  1. The Aberfeldy gun murder update…

@ICTChris rightly compared it to the death of Goldfinger the holiday timeshare crook. He was snipered in his back garden, allegedly by international hitman Imre Arakas, and police didn’t notice the bullet wounds.

Aberfeldy felled victim was blasted by a shotgun. Maybe the police thought he was walking his dog and his head just fell off?

Question for any resident sparkys on here

Been in our gaff now for over 6 years, in that time the electrics have been pretty solid apart from on 3 or 4 different occasions now the fuse for downstairs will trip

After narrowing it down to the downstairs plug sockets (it defo is) we have proceeded every time to switch off and unplug every socket downstairs including they pain in the arse ones under the kitchen units, and when we go to flip the downstairs sockets on again it still trips the downstairs fuse

However, everytime this has happened, after 12hrs give or take, the sockets will magically not trip the fuse and everything goes back to normal

When it happens i can run extension cords from upstairs landing down to plug the fridge and telly/router in along with any kitchen appliances needed (it's weird as this has only ever happened at night) but also, it happened the other day when nobody did anything, nothing new was plugged in or unplugged etc

Any ideas what could be causing the trip and why it resets itself after half a day

Not a sparky but did manage properties for 20 odd years and it sounds like it could be a dodgy appliance. Ovens, hobs, showers- things that are switched on even if not in use. Could be worth going through a process of elimination on these.
Mice and poltergeists a possibility too.

Those Some Twat Visits Nice Places in Scotland in a Twee Old Vehicle shows should be canned in favour of this. Mullarkey’s Real Scotland. Rubbish dumps in Dundee. Desolate bits of Fife. Glasgows dirtiest stairwells. I’d watch it anyway.

I would imagine Nutmeg and VFTT approached Div asking for a wee corner to themselves, and possibly offering to make it worth his while in some little way.

No reason whatsoever that OG could not do the same.

To be housed somewhere south of the juniors forum.

  5. Having an A in Higher English and an arty degree from Britain’s top university and I still have no idea what that babbling load of words is on about. May I suggest the author goes away and reads a John Le Carré novel then comes back with a more concise writing style?

These insufferable social commentators from all corners of the batshit political spectrum blend into one. Instead of reading work by talented writers they clearly only read each others’ awful prose then replicate it. And if you’re reading it through choice you are wasting your life.

Why is Parker circling to his right, against a big punching SP?

Risky but it’s probably to try and reduce the effectiveness of Zhang’s jab and then if Zhang fires a straight left Parker fancies himself to get in low underneath to the body or the overhand right from low that worked well against Wilder. Takes a bit of balls/madness.
