  1. How about livvie going straight to the Council of Arbitration for Sport? After all, WHU thought about it for the Tevez affair and AFC Wimbledon were tempted to take the Ryman League to the CoAfS after being deducted 18 points - until the FA saw sense.
  2. Oh dear, it's the clown who thought that Lavi would remain in SF1.
  3. So will there now be an appeal to the SFA, then when that fails a civil case in a court of law? When will the SFL Management Committee confirm the deduction of points? (-15 at least hopefully)
  4. McDougall has already been confirmed as heading up the football side of the new Livi. He's a businessman who likes to make money too though and is also not avesre to legal action as his recent day in court v Cowdenbeath shows. No doubt he has a football ego and loves wearing the blazer - but making money is his game too. I only suspect that legal action is likely as a Livi fan who was strangely absent from this thread all during the Massone stuff has suggested it will not finish tomorrow. We'll see - this will run for a while I reckon.
  5. If as has been hinted at, McGruther and his backers are prepared to go to the law courts if and when the appeal falls tomorrow - things will really start to get interesting, costs will increase as will the stakes. Amazing what money will be spent and risks taken to make money and aquire real estate....
  6. Yeah, I thought you wouldn't want to upset the fannies on LL. CDE would have deleted it anyhoo. DD tomorrow - bad news hopefully - I've got the dancing shoes ready.
  7. What happened to your poll on LL then? (Haven't read back) All mooth and nae troosers AS USUAL?
  8. Excellent stuff - can you get one of the durum wheat mafia to present it to me with accompanying roll on their drums and with their wee flags and bunting hanging down? B) You, on the other hand, win the prize for being one of the few c***s who went against the Meadowbank fans and followed the franchise to Livingston. Like your mate MCL - you did it for personal profit as you got paid to write in the programme - then came out with some sanctimonious pish about how difficult it would be to tell your son about Livingston going bust and disappearing.
  9. I'm hoping that I win your poll on Livilions! I'd be proud as punch to be the most hated P&B poster on there.
  10. I've got a question for you Angelo the conman Unclebob the film man... :- How come the wages were never paid on time and what are you going to spend the £50K on? Another bit of advice, lay off the beer and don't drink and drive. edited to add: And if you are indeed Matthew Brown of Sherwood Films - I hope Massolini paid you up front in cash!
  11. Spending all that time on the lavvie forum has made your brain soft TgoJM. You give them too much time and respect.
  12. Well... dance Cap, dance FFS. Ah ken yous have a gammy leg - but get those dancing shoes oan man!
  13. Brilliant - simply, quite superb - post of the thread! Funny you should mention this guys - now that AFC wimbledon have sold their soul and whored themselves up to the Conference National - I'm thinking of supporting either Raynes Park Vale or Sutton United. I'm now re-branding myself at a supporters-trust-hater and an anti-glory-hunter.
  14. Yeah, I know - I used to watch them occasionally in the early 80's when I was a student in Edinburgh and couldn't get back to Dumfries for QOS games. I'm back in and willing to invest...... (puts on Duncan Bannatyne accent) £9.99 for 51% of yer company - Livi the dream.
  15. Why does West Lothian deserve a football team bacause it has 170K residents? Most of these residents have made their decisions a long time ago to support the old firm, Hearts, Hibs, Linthithgow Rose or whoever. As had been said, football supporting is a pretty irrational thing and Scottish football will not be saved by West Lothian having a community football club. How about another team from Edinburgh though? Or maybe the people of East Kilbride deserve an alternative to the old firm. Pish - you think that West Lothian deserves it because you live there and have a vested interest. Others might argue for a second Aberdeen team, a third Edinburgh team, a team from the Borders to fight against the influence of rugby, a team from East Kilbride, a team from Orkney & Shetlands etc etc. etc. A big population does not mean you should be at the front of any queue or some sort of pish about you saving Scottish football. Some might say, West Lothian have had their chance and blown it. Anyhoo, I thought you were tooddle pipping off to the third division forum?
  16. Agreed. His posts have been some of the best on this thread. No amount of 'soft soaping' from Livingston fans will change the views of many Scottish football fans - many of whom will be joining me in never attending a Livingston home match and not giving the club one penny.
  17. You are Ged Nixon and i claim my £5 - please don't give it to me in Livingston shares. That is of course the Ged Nixon who invested under the Flynn regime and at the same time as Irish property developers were looking at investing in Livingston FC. http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/football...-get.3981212.jp You're not Irish are you, Stadio Delle Almondvale?
  18. Good post. It really is all about self-interest and all the blazers know each other. It's much the same at many smaller football clubs where the local solicitor and accountant get involved with the football club to raise their profile and help their business. It's often about stadium and land when it comes to football clubs - but at the end of the day, they'll tell you it's just business.
  19. The Wimbledon fans didn't have any choice - we were shafted after the FA passed the buck to a three man commission and permission to move the club to Milton Keynes was granted. Wouldn't want the club to be owned any other way now though. Anyway, what a fucking disgrace - the SFL are bunch of spineless tossers. The little blazer mafia pulled together it seems. Massone must be laughing his tits off and will hold out for more money. Meanwhile will the creditors and HMRC get paid?
  20. He has battoned down the hatches on livilions and rarely ventures onto P&B. Polished your dancing shoes yet Cap?
  21. There was an Italian called Massone, Who was fond of the odd bottle of peroni, he bought livi for a pound, he couldn't turn them round, so he went back to Lazio to eat calzone.
  22. I wanted to check with Ballantyne and Section B first. The only check needed is - does your Chairman support your football club? - that works for me.
  23. I haven't a scooby - I've not been privy to the discussions or 'inside-track.' I'm not seduced by the word trust - makes sense that that is the vehicle for any Livingston pheonix club though. There are good and bad supporters trusts. Thanks for that. I was fairly sure Colin Rutherford had done some good work on this at Queens but didn't know when or why. I possibly missed an article on the Queens OS. Do you think that when the SFL clubs are fully licensed under this scheme and it is indeed thoroughly checked, this will help avoid a 'Livingston situation again?' Personally, I'd like a robust fit and proper person test introduced by the football authorities - but I'm not sure that even such a measure would be enough to stop chancers like Massone getting control of our football clubs. For example, I imagine Mileson would have sailed through most checks, but look what happened to Gretna FC.
