As others have said including Clarke himself this is a very important tournament now it gives a second chance at qualification for major tournaments. Given our track record at qualifying from groups this is to be lauded and taken seriously. 3 games in 6 days in a step too far but I suspect Clarke will ask the players how they feel before making decisions. He should be playing his strongest starting 11 in each game. Only rotating when there are injuries or Covid + results. Also putting on Considine and McRorie from subs bench if we are winning. Don’t want to kick players when they are down but McBurnie has shown very little in many of the games he has played. I would take GRIFFITHS over him every single time.

Very much this. I have been at many Hampden games where we have played well and lost or drawn. Italy at home is the stand out. I don’t give us much chance to beat Serbia but it is a one off game. Playing away may help us. Another two games to see if we can up our performances.

I thought we did OK defensively. Midfield and up front was the key issue. McBurnie will not do. I wonder if Clarke will go even more defensive v Serbia away. 4-5-1 would be best.

We are being passed off the park v Israel at home. That is how far we have sunk. I was in favour of Clarke getting the job but these last few games has shown we have gone backwards.

Israel have looked a better footballing side. That is the worry. We have looked second best. Another 30 minutes of torture looming

He is better going forward than defending. As a defender that is not usually a good quality.

Gorson we literally have a defender at Bayern Munich. Israel play some nice football. More pleasing on the eye than our play so far. We seem unable to join midfield with the strikers. All a bit haphazard so far
