Interesting that Accies will play Ross County and Motherwell before Dundee play again, leaving you three games in hand at home to Aberdeen , Celtic and Utd.

Rangers appael was not against the guilty verdict , it was against the punishment. The appeal tribunal cannot re-convene until newco Rangers application for membership to the SFA is accepted.

The claim that Scottish Football will lose £16m by Rangers going to Div 3, is a joke. Who will lose money ?, I can name 30 SFL clubs who won't lose £16m between them although if they vote in favour they could lose a lot.

If Rangers newco don't get admitted to SPL , Dundee will be promoted to SPL, Airdrie Utd to DIV 1. Rangers could buy Airdrie Utd from Jim Ballantyne and go into Div 1, and possibly one year away from SPL.

This whole process has been a con , nobody bid against Charles Green so that there was no pushing teh proice up to pay creditors. The figure of £5.5m was just to make sure Duff & Phelps got paid. Now Rangers newco are free of Tax Liablities the real owners can step forward and buy off Green. They can use Walter Smith to get the fans on their side , and the players to transfer over then use fan power to force Green to sell. 1) David Murray gets away with paying tax on Big Tax Case 2) Craig Whyte a pawn in the game 3) Charles Green , a pawn in the game will make money for his trouble of being the big bad wolf putting Rangers into liquidation 4) Rangers supporting businessmen will own Rangers with no debt and no HMRC liablities from previous ownerships. Well done to all involved you played a blinder and showed how the Old Firm are more powerful then SPL and SFA. Maybe the press will blamr Craig Levein when Hampden is empty for the World Cup Qualifers, the SFA better do the right thing and see through this charade.

This whole thing has been a set-up since day one, David Murray sold Rangers to Craig Whtye so Rangers didn't have to pay HMRC on the Big Tax case. Craig Wythe put Rangers into Administartion in the hope a CVA could be acheived to stop investigations into EBT. (The only thing that went wrong was Whyte not paying PAYE getting the taxman's back up and he will now fully investigate) Charles Green made sure the assets of Rangers were bought for as small an amount as possible and he would take the flak for putting Rangers into liquidation. This also got round the problem of Craig Whyte not selling to Paul Murray. Walter Smith consortium will use fan power to buy Rangers from Green, Green walks away witha profit for his troubles. Walter Smith consortium will either involve or sell Rangers on to Blue Kights. I have said since 14th February that Rangers will end up being owned by a consortium of Rangers fans including Douglas Park. It will be quite ironic to see an an Accies shareholder owning Rangers ! This will soon happen. Charles Green will hang around and try to push the price up, but in the end I can't see him being around on the opening day of next season. It would be interesting to see how many Season Tickets are sold if he did stay until the season opens.

The Newco are buying Rangers footballing assets for £5.5m , then will then sell Lafferty, McGregor and Whittaker for about £10m , sell the naming rights to Ibrox for £10m, sell £20m season tickets , then sell the newco to the Blue Knights for £1 and walk away with a tidy profit. They have £1.5m set aside for wages for new players. Gattuso will get £600k this move will appease the fans. It will all carry on as if nothing happened. This is all a farce. I have no doubt by the time Rangers next play in Europe Charles Green will b elong gone and the Blue Knights in some form will be in charge. The man is an asset stripper and he has promised investors to double their money. I still don't see how he can be allowed to buy the assets of Rangers for only £5.5m, surely Ibrox, Murray Park and the players are worth more than that. This could leave D&P open to civil action from HMRC for selling an asset at an undervalued amount.

1) I hope I am wrong but suspect the greed is good , make it up as you go along, Self Preservation League will allow Rangers back in and stick two fingers up to all fans 2) If Rangers don't get voted into SPL, why does everybody assume the SFL will ? Rangers fans go on about starting in Div 3, why should they be allowed in Div 3 ?

I think from a footballing point of view a new Rangers in the SPL will be the likely outcome and for the sake of Scottish Football proabbly the best outcome, although the other SPL clubs shoudl use this as an oppotunity to redraft the rules of voting and distribution of income. I wholly support HMRC if they go after the people resposible for thsi mess and enforce sales of their assets to pay Rangers debt. There is one thing I don't understnd about the speculation of about Rangers starting off in Div 3, there seems to be an assumption if the SPL clubs vote against Rangers they will automatically be voted into the SFL. This is the SFL who Rangers as one of the SPL clubs resigned from , to join the greed is good SPL. If Rangers were admitted to SFL , how much would all the small clubs have to find to upgrade their grounds and police matches gainst Rangers. If I was an SPL Chairman I woudl not be voting against Rangers entry to the SPL , as it could kill Rangers and they would never be seen again, never mind three years. Rangers need punished and I think the answer is to suspend their SFA license for 12 months and let everybody see the impact of the SPL without Rangers and in 12 months time they can then have a vote when all the emotions have calmed down.

Surely if Rangers win this , the SFA will only have one sanction remianing , explusion.

Rangers appeal rejected and the SFA pointed out Rangers have over 40 players , so what do they have to moan about ?

Why are Rangers fans arranging protest marches and making veiled threats against all other clubs, I hope their bully boy tactics are seen for what they are. Every fan of every other club shoudl unite against these bully boys. What punishmnet do Rangers fans think is fair ? They keep claiming the club is on it's knees, as far as I can see it is business as usual , with only 2 players leaving Ibrox so far. Perhaps the Rangers fand who keep going on about relegation to Div 3, will gte their wish , as they won't accept transfer ban , and financial pemalties are meaningless. I remember being in Div 3 , it was fun , but being deducted 15 points for missing one game was unfair , but then Rangers didn't go out their way to help our appeal. We all must remember Rangers are too big to be punished, that big indeed the only punishment that will fit their crime is explusion from football. If Rangers fans don't accept the transfer embargo , every other club will turn on Rangers , so there can only be one solution, expel Rangers and their bully boys.

When Hamilton Accies directors failed to pay their players month after month and the players union got nowhere, the players went on strike for one day to protest, missing one game. Accies were deducted 15 points and relegated to Div 3. There was no talk then of divorcing the actions of the owner from the club, why should Rangers be treated differently. It took Accies to go to court to get gate receipts from a cup game at Ibrox, and now Rangers want sympathy. A ONE year transfer emabrgo is nothing for a club which has over 60 players on their books. As Steve Archibald pointed out on Talksport , the new owner will be delighted as there will be no excpectation of big money purchases , so he can focus on sortting out a proper business plan for the future. The SPL should be asking Sky fr more money since the Rangers story has filled hours of coverage on SSN. Rangers should be pleased teh tarnsfer embargo is only one year long as next season will be a write off with a points deduction proabbly coming their way , as I can't see them exiting Administartion before October's court case.

Conversley I think Accies have played everybody except Annan in the past 11 years. Havng said that amazingly managed to avoid a trip to Somerset Park for 12 years.
