  1. Always seems to be folk with new accounts as well…..
  2. McGill more than capable at filling it at full back. Which is handy. I’d guess he might even play LB tomorrow, with Dick and Mason/Corr at CB.
  3. Weren’t the original seats in the home railway stand royal blue anyway with no backs? I remember falling into someone back in the 90s….
  4. Yeah I’m not in the know or anything, I just presumed Lang was. I know going by his tweet when leaving that it didn’t suggest. But who knows? As long as we can get in better this season, because as previously mentioned we found ourselves in that position last season when Berra retired and we had no CBs other than Adam Masson.
  5. Just the same situation this season with Tom Lang that we had with Bene season before. Probably offered terms, potentially reduced wages or years. Both didn’t couldn’t agree and find themselves away from us. Quite simple. Would I have kept Bene? Probably. But I think only in hindsight. Was fine with him leaving at the time.
  6. https://t.co/PDRwG3emD2 of course it mentions the £150k a year….
  7. It was either that game, or it was the game we won 2-0? I’m sure Liam Fox despatched a penalty after a certain Joe Cardle was brought down in the box?
  8. Squad so far: Dabrowski Millen Dick Masson Corr Matthews Brown Mullin Vaughan Connolly Hamilton Assuming its 4231… Bear in mind this is just how I would line up… Subs: Thomson GK Easton Ross Stanton McGill Smith Gullan Arnott Mitchell McNeil GK Total 21. Still need a couple of CBS, then maybe a couple of loans and that’s us? No bad eh?
  9. Thing with signing any player at our level though is that consistency is really hard to come by. Players can sometimes just come out of nowhere, who have previously been not up to much. Kevin Nisbet, a prime example of this. Kicked on with us, then Dunfermline and never really looked back. We signed Spence and Buchanan after tearing it up the season before with Alloa, and it just didn’t really work out for them both while at us. These things happen.
  10. Ah definitely. Would have had loads of views after pumping Sevco in the Ramsdens too.
  11. I see this thread has been going since 2009, with 8m views. Looking through the threads it’s seems that we’re only really behind The Rangers liquidation thread and Falkirk in terms of true pie and bovril box office. Not bad.
  12. Kinda glad County stayed up. Parachute payments, plus they are loaded so them on top of Dundee United I think would have made it difficult. Thistle will be absolute reeling.
  13. I really hope our new owners can take us to the Sudetenland…..
  14. Nah. This time we’ve signed a striker that EVERY team in the league would like to have….
  15. I’ve seen clubs even outwith the championship that are close to £300. I’m sure I saw East Fife charging £290 for an adult (£270 for an early bird. ) Premiership clubs can easily subsidise due to television money surely? I know this filters down. Do St. Johnstone have a tiered system for the old firm games? If you do, I’d imagine you wouldn’t be the only club either?
  16. The club better ring o’connells to get the title party booked for next May….
  17. Yeah my bad I was looking at it thinking it was Killie on -21 and not County.
  18. Could have sworn when I looked at the table before they went 3-2 up that they were 3 points behind Killie but like 7 goals behind. Academic now.
