I was in the 'be careful what you wish for' camp before today, but I think McInnes has come to the end of the road now.
It would be a shame if McInnes's legacy at Aberdeen was to be overshadowed by this downward spiral. He's done a tremendous job at Pittodrie and I hope he gets a decent job somewhere else so both parties can start afresh.

They've not been slow to change managers in the past even when they appeared to be doing okay. We're not competitive this season and that's not acceptable.

4 points off automatic promotion with a game in hand. Beat two Premiership sides in League Cup away from home & has lost just 7 league games out 57 in charge at Sunderland.

Someone send Michael (p***k) Stewart a toilet roll - a big one.
[Strangely] he wasn't around on Sportsound today....I think he's being treated for severe shock.

Season 2019/2020 - Matchday 8:
East Kilbride FC 3 - 2 Berwick Rangers
(Winter 44, Woods46, Paton 50)
Going a goal down within the first 20 seconds of a match is never a good policy and for the first half Berwick were, in my opinion, the better side. EK scored on the stroke of half time with our first shot on target (feed Sean Winter and he will score). Two quickfire goals in the second half gave us a degree of comfort before the visitors scored with an excellent header.
We still haven't reached a high enough level of performance to convince me we can be serious contenders this season.
I liked Healy, he had movement and height and was a stand out for me. I was a little surprised to see both him and Balde go off together and ultimately I wouldn't have grudged BRFC a draw.
For EK my personal highlight was the performance of George Stanger at right back. It's a position that we haven't had a regular, consistent player in since, the much maligned, Fabio. GS showed some qualities at both ends of the pitch. Paton's work rate is tremendous so I'm glad he got a goal to show for it and you had to admire his backflip celebration. Also nice to see Kieran Gibbons back at K Park and immediately barking orders at all and sundry. Craig Malcolm was reduced to the role of spectator today which is a credit to the BR centre halves one of whom is probably the biggest guy I've seen in LL (and he could play a bit).

A painful watch. Scotland aren't top tier BUT they normally compete, today that was not the case.

I read that yesterday on a Stenhousemuir thread and was checking social media this morning, searching for confirmation. I was a big fan of KG and it's a shame it didn't work out for him but if he can recapture the form that led to his move it could be the shot in the arm we need.

Did they have to make a change at the time or did he see the game out?

When did the David Marsh [Cowden keeper] challenge take place?

Gibbons has rejoined East Kilbride. Surprise surprise!
Was going to say that he was really good for us (EK) and that LL is possibly his level?

Fact is the country has never gave to flying fecks too grassroots sport. I grew up in a town with 8k population and there was no kids football teams at all this was 30yrs ago and no computer games we were constantly playing football but no adults were interest in starting teams.
Fast forward to today still feck all in my home town. In comparison I live in a town half the size in Wales now and it has 3 adult amateur teams 1 semi pro team. All age groups kids football. This is mirrored by the local rugby club. The locals give a shite about where they live and give back to community.........somewhere along the line going back decades people in Scotland don't give a flying f**k about where they live and are not arsed about helping out.
Blame Thatcher!

Alcohol definitely plays a part, but you don't need it in the stadium itself. They could put on a fan zone in the south car park, maybe another one on the empty ground behind the north-east corner. On Friday night I couldn't get on a tram at Saughton an hour and forty-five minutes before the game at Murrayfield, there were that many people going so early. There were tens of thousands in the ground 90 minutes before kick-off, though none in their seats. They were drinking, eating the far better food, getting their face painted, playing ball games in the west fan zone, listening to live music, socialising. It's taken years to build that up but now they have fans in a really good mood when they get to their seats, and they make a ton more money too. Who gives a shit about their 'demographic'?
Which option is closest to the general response when/if they lose a match?
a) Anger, vitriol and rage
b) Supportive and genial
c) No one really cares as they've had such a good time
