    First quarter was decent and great to see Gilmiur score. After that it has been brutal. Kelly should have stopped the corner for the first and then possibly done better with the header. Second was a good goal. Not much to be done. Third is stupid by Cooper. We have barely played since France equalised. Almost another Kelly howler.

    Nearly a Gemmill special tonight. Late winner to beat Malta at home. Lowry through the middle offered very little threat against lesser opposition. At least we got the three points.

    When you say it like that it doesn't sound like a lot but there are a lot of shares. it is over $200m in total or $20m per year if my maths are correct. And that is just dividends. Nearly $1b has been paid out in bank interest over the Glazer period just in servicing the interest. So $1.2B at least paid out supportign the owners of the club while the debt continues to grow.

    Neville is right that a minority investment is clearly the wrong path and is just more Glazers bullshit and siphoning money out the club. The minority investment is money going into the Glazers pocket for no control over the club as a whole. Which means the people giving the money are not doing it to have a play thing but purely as a capitalist endeavour to extract as much return on their investment as possible. As long as the Glazers remain there is no real possibility of Man Utd turning it around and getting back to seriously competing for the title and champions league. Th whole ethos of Man Utd right now is paying off intesting and paing out dividends.

    Sometimes you wonder how the refs justify things to themselves. Gives a knock on for Kitsoff slapping the ball down from the ruck. That is a clear penaly. And possibly a yellow because it was so blatant but somehow the rules just get forgotten.

    Which ones do you think are a stretch? Do you do crytpic crosswords? This is pretty much how they work. The clues are out to flummox you. Each clue has a definition, usually at the start or end. Then work out what else is going on. It is sort of mathematical. The word play is like an equation that equals an answer. sugna managed to work it out. It is not a skill that everyone has and it is something that has to be learned.
