Yesterday, myself and the 2 other guys who do my job received a rather bizarre email. It basically said that our names had been put forward as volunteers to do additional planning/resourcing work, in our own time out with work, for no additional compensation. Their reasoning was, that by doing the additional work it would make our own jobs easier. What makes this even more extraordinary is that when the most recent planner left, his job was effectively made redundant meaning there is now nobody to carry out the work. This also comes the day that my work announced redundancies in several other departments.
I've been asked to respond to the email to confirm that this is something I'll be willing to do. I've spoken to my 2 colleagues and we're all thinking of collectively ignoring the email as it is that ridiculous, that it doesn't merit a response. This all comes from a company that made $22 billion profit last year.
Do you have any senior management who used to work for Thomas Cook?
Edit : apart from the humongous profit, obvs.

Scans beautifully.
Also the perfect match for "Dum-bar-ton, clap clap clap."

That looks the very thing I need, and more importantly, I reckon I can successfully fit with my limited man skills.

We're now in a position where three points in Tuesday night could move us back to second. Our record this season against Peterhead and Spartans isn't good (today was the first win against either) but I'd probably rather play either in the semi-finals than an Annan side who have found their feet in League One based on the last two meetings at home.
Who goes up (or stays up) will all come down to form at the time I reckon. But, just like I said last week, I suspect that Annan will be feeling very confident against any of the three from this league as things stand.
I was at Falkirk/Annan today (big team found) and to be honest, Annan were absolutely honking. I have never seen a team so undeserving of snatching a 1-1 draw in the 94th minute of a game, it was daylight robbery.
I said to my young ranters at about the hour mark "We're pretty pish, but I'd still fancy even us against this Annan lot". I hadn't changed my mind by the end, despite them gaining a draw versus the league's runaway leaders.

I've just noticed that James Graham is from Lewis. Anyone know if we've had any other player from a Scottish Island?
@microdave is your man for that type of question.

Biscuits was losing his sh*t last night because there was no way of knowing which of the 2 tackles in Hibs' box that the Hearts penalty had been given for, after the VAR review.
I was losing my sh*t because it didn't matter which one it had been given for, the relevant fact was that it had been given.

I noticed last night that the Beeb sent Lewis to Celtic Park, so she had to do the pre/post match interviews.

Surely he already has - wasn't that a lockdown gimmick?
He's got a current one 'Heather on the Hill' which George Bowie is pushing frequently.
Remixed by GBX, curiously.

My description was Associates with a hint of Sparks, so similar view. Saw most of their set, really enjoyed the last song they did, in particular.
