I see Craig Watson, Adam Frizzell and Gabby McGill are all in the new squad list on the club web site. Hopefully that means they’ve all signed up.and it just hasn’t been made public yet??

Down to the last 7 games Airdrie have 4 (h) and 3 (a) HOME QP, Cove, Dumbarton and Peterhead AWAY Montrose, East Fife and Clyde Cove have 2 (h) and 5 (a) HOME Dumbarton & Alloa AWAY Airdrie, QP , Montrose, Falkirk, East Fife Cove have a harder run in but they’re playing so well it’s hard to see who’s going to beat them. what’s clear is the Airdrie have to beat Cove on 26th March and hope someone else can take points off Cove while maintaining a winning streak. Odds are in favour of Cove but this is L1 football so anything could happen. As a long suffering Airdrie fan it’s nice to at least be challenging for a league title - at last!!!

How many people are choosing to watch the live stream? We’ve never had any indication of those nos which could be affecting our crowds. I’m sure like other older supporters the prospect of sitting frozen stiff doesn’t fill me with anticipation on a Saturday afternoon. Nonetheless I’ve been at most of the home games this season but if the weather’s been especially bad I’ve opted to watch the stream in comfort from home. Furthermore being able to watch an away game (even if the coverage is poor like Saturday) which I’d never attend I.e. Peterhead, Cove is an added bonus.

Yes thought Peterhead looked a very tidy team last night with some very good individual performances - even with Russell McLean on the bench for the first hour or so. I think we’ll be made to work hard for anything we take from Balmoor but I’m sure IM will be under no illusion that it will be easy and will have the team up for it. Exciting times (long overdue). Solid signing. Hopefully Kyle’s developed into a better player in his time with Dunfermline. Definite upgrade on current LB options even though the 2 Scotts have performed reasonably well especially as they weren’t being used in their natural/preferred positions. The commentary team are also easy on the ear and have an even handed approach giving opposition due credit where its merited. However do beware of John O’Brian and his vuvuzela!!!!!
