  1. Biggie not an ald man?

    How very dare you.

Biggie's style is a little more avant garde than 'die a horrible death'.

Besides, he's busy holding the fort over in enemy territory (East on Dobbies), keeping our lands and young lads safe.

Note; apologies Ludo, thought you were living in the area in question.

    Spot on.

Biggie is about 55/56 but he's not the guy in the article.

You don't know what day of the week it is, never mind my age, you slavering geriatric mess.

  2. Pretty much, although I'm worried about him leaving full stop not just for you lot, as we'd struggle badly to find a left back nearly as good as him for the money he gets.

Its a 'no-brainer' for the boy, must be soul destroying running out into an empty stadium, in farmer land, where nobody gives a 'monkeys'.

  3. I'd be absolutely amazed if Easton moved to you lot. He'll likely either move to a bigger side in this division, but frankly both United and Aberdeen now have left backs and Celtic wouldn't be interested. Doubt Caley or Accies would be more of a draw than Dundee either. I suspect he'll be looking for a move South again if he is to leave us, although it wouldn't be the oddest transfer if he joined you.

^^^^^^shite-ting himself that Easton's gonna come back to Dens.

  4. Anyone tuning into Absolute radio yesterday evening? There was a bloke on who's just released a book on the global drugs war. It was a very interesting interview. Was chatting about the case for Portugal, and was also taking about Rat Parks and shit.

I think that was him on the Trews getting interviewed by Brand, like you say, it was interesting.

  5. They have not all been good

    Schenk -self explanatory

    Ferry - not been impressed

Thomson - doesn't play enough for what he earns

Ghadzalov - jury is still out on him afraid. He was bullied by Scotland on Saturday.

Paul McGinn - after a decent start I am not convinced he will be consistently good enough at this level

Your just nit-picking and whinging now.

  6. Steady on…

He was a good striker for us when he wasn't injured, his chance conversion was great too.

Unlike Collins, he was able to stick the ball in the net whenever he was in the box and his finishing was very good.

He was unfortunate to find himself in a new manager's team where Butcher only used 1 striker to lead the line.

Since Collins ran around like a headless chicken and could last a full 90 minutes, Heffernan was often left on the bench.

Heffernan was unlucky not to get games up top with Collins, where he looked excellent under Fenlon.

His legs were completely gone after the injury though and rightly became our 7th-choice striker this season.

I hope he does well, though I'm glad we ended his contract and hopefully saved a bit of money.

Fucking hell, that's pretty far down the pecking order.

  7. I must admit when we first got Hartley in as manager I was quite excited about contacts he would have after Barry Smith appearing to have very few contacts outside the local area.

However I am starting to wonder if he has that many contacts based on his signings.

Now on the whole his signings have been decent but am I the only one that thinks his contacts appear quite limited. With him appearing to go for. Ex team mates and players of a certain age or with something to prove.

There doesn't appear to be many out of the box signings.

It doesn't matter if they are 'out the box' or not, every signing he has made so far has been good, (with the exception of Roberts), so if Hartley, the best manager we've had for the past thirty odd years thinks it'll improve the team, then I'm happy with that, don't get all this negativity.
