  1. There's a thread on the Dundee forum (Started by Harry94 from P&B) regarding lower league talent. Will Vaulks has caught my eye previously, but I've never seen enough of him to make a judgement. I'm led to believe he's one of Falkirk's most promising talents?

Out of curiosity, how good is he? Is he for example, better than Declan Gallagher (I know he's playing at a lesser club and all but it's for a comparison in my eyes!) and how much would Falkirk expect to receive for him without being daft? Heard (From the thread on the Dundee forum) that he'll be a great CH in the future, so just how far can he go?

    Cheers for any replies!

Fairly Mobile with a good passing range can shoot for distance and fairly good in the air can play either as a CH or a holding CMid he can tackle and is very commited 150K or there abouts would probably tempt the board. But the scuttlebutt is he is very settled at Falkirk after they gave him a break in football

  2. Or refuse to sell him he has a dip in form/Bad injury and his value plumments. Its all about risk and our board have a twice bitten attitude at the moment. Wether you like it or not 500K with add ons or 750K with add ons is good business as the amounts being paid for young players outside the EPL and Championship is beginning to drop

  3. If you care to tell me what Bowman has ever done wrong (apart from his driving) I will back you up in that assessment?

Nothing I just feel he we really need experience in goals there is a reason Keepers play far longer than most other players. And that is they seem to really reach there best in the mid to late twenties.

  4. To quote the Hives...."Hate to say I told you so"........

We were never ever going to hear a straight yes or no from the board of which it does concern me but not as much where the facts stand that it hasnt changed a jot to our season, players and starting division members

If the disclosed decision had made a difference, then I am sure the minority of fans who are up in air wouldve became the majority.

You will struggle to find a Falkirk fan who is happy if we voted yes(of which I am sure we did).... but we all have our way with dealing with that of which I respect all. I can see why the club voted yes and the statement kinda shows that with the Rangers promotion in three years and having no changes in our league that we have missed a chance for that change of which wouldve been done hastily SPL style.

The bigger picture is Scottish fitba is fecked, things like this dont help but we could find ourselves promoted this season or next season and miss more tv money in the SFL due to the Newco as the SPL SKY deal I am sure runs out this coming season

As I say I understand those who are aggrieved, I am too in a lesser fashion but our club has tried to act like the SPL in this vote, only that it hasnt got the same twisted power the SPL clubs have and have fell flat on their faces

I disagree I think we voted No the statement can be read either way but leans slightly more towards a No vote. However I think most of us will have to agree to disagree as the board for better or worse have decide to keep their vote in-house as is there right.

Now onwards Falkirk 3 - Stirling Albion 0 tomorrow with Taylor (2) and Leahy the scorers

  5. But Rangers wouldn't be able to afford anywhere near the wages McGregor was reportedly on (25k a week?) so, although you obviously think McGregor is shite, surely he would be able to get much higher wages elsewhere than he would at 1st or 3rd Div Rangers?

What level is McGregor English Division 1?

Newco will have to either release or offer better/similar or reduced contracts to some if not all the Oldco's players. The players have the legal right to refuse these contracts Mr Green has some pretty naff lawyers if he has been told anything else.

As to Mcgregor Top of the Championship lower end of the premiership at best because of attitude rather than ability.

  6. I hope it is the 15th - then we can be all Shakesperian.*

Rangers fans would see it as a tragedy, the rest of us would recognise it as a farce. :P

    * Message to any young person who doesn't get this "Put down your X-box and pick up a book". :D

To all those young ones the book you want for this quote is Julius Caeser

As for Rangers being in the 3rd not going to happen to many vested interests in the SPhell
