  1. I'm playing a narrow formation which relies on wing backs.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is a must have for LB. Relatively inexpensive (loan first season then free transfer). He's a beast. Will join you and be good enough for your squad anywhere from mid-Scottish Championship to high English Championship and still plays for me as I challenge the OF for the title year in, year out.

Really struggling to get any AMC to play consistently well. Persisted with advanced playmaker in a supporting role but will need to change that. Had loads of talent in that role but none pulled it off.

Meh, I don't mind that. They are obviously doing it to maximise profit but if it's more expensive it might mean folk won't panic buy as many items. Though my pictures in the previous post certainly don't support that theory.

I really do hate the human race at times.

Somebody was saying about purchases going through the till ( only so many allowed ) still not happened. We however have wrote it so people stop being selfish c***s and leave some for others. Is working slightly but still had to argue to a gentleman who wanted to take 27 handwashes. Meh was pretty eventful

    What was said? Details.

    What was his justification?

The DABs were doing their best to bottle it, but Caley just haven't been good enough to maintain a realistic challenge, the arse has fallen out of Aye, and we were stupid enough to star the season with a thick rookie manager. Even if Caley won their game in hand, then beat the DABs to get it to an 8 point deficit, I highly doubt they'd win every remaining game to at least make it interesting. They're nothing like the Caley side that went on that mental run to keep us down years ago.

That said, United haven't "won" anything yet. No one had mathematically won anything, or been relegated so ending the season now with the current standings would be fucking mental. The reconstruction chat is nonsense as well. The last reconstruction was only carried out because SFA were shitting themselves about the ***s 2.0 not getting straight up through the leagues.

The only options that should be on the table are either trying to complete the season, but only IF we get playing again in May or June at the latest, starting next season late but cutting down the fixtures, by binning shite like the League and Petrofac cups, and no replays in the Scottish; OR voiding the season entirely. It will basically come down to the SFA/SPFL deciding which set of old firm fans they feel less inclined to annoy.

Contracts will be a major issue, particularly for lower league clubs.

  4. Watching the uploaded stuff on DeeTV. 16 year ago we beat Aberdeen at Dens with this team:

    Derek Soutar

    Stephen McNally
    Brent Sancho
    Barry Smith
    Callum McDonald

    Neil Barrett
    Garry Brady
    Steven Robb

    Fabian Caballero
    Stevie Lovell
    John Sutton

That's a cracking strike force and not the worst CH's, but no wonder we ended up going down. Deary me.

In saying that, Aberdeen's team wasn't much better:

    Ryan Esson

    Michael Hart
    Russel Anderson
    Zander Diamond
    Kevin McNaughton

    Richard Foster
    Markus Heikkenen
    Scott Severin
    Chris Clark

    Darren Mackie
    Fernando Pasquinelli

It would be more helpful if the club indicated if they’d like next season’s ticket money now or would prefer a steady stream of money coming in through tickets sales over the next few months.

I assume they launched the season tickets for next season because they want your money as quickly as possible and that was before all this was going on.

  6. Season tickets are out. If you can afford it this early and want to back Keyes (Not just Dundee) then buy one. Club merchandise means we only get a percentage of the profit or nothing at all if we've sold the rights for a lump sum like we've done in the past.

Tickets are where it's at. Understandable considering the circumstances if you're not keen on doing that.

This is where DEETV comes into play. Perfect time to buy this if you want to support the club - and might factor into our upcoming games - it'll at least fill the gap in the meantime.

  7. There's that horrible knot in my stomach that plays to the panic. The idea that it's a big conspiracy. Not quite a conspiracy on, 'This is North Korean chemical warfare' more that this is going to be a much bigger disaster for the human race than is even being alluded to. Why would governments tell us more if it'd cause a massive panic? (100x the panic there is now). That horrid feeling just won't subside and it all stems from the fact I've got a fucking horrendous cough and am a selfish, paranoid hypochondriac. 😂

Still though, it's past the point where it was a wee thing to joke about as I thought it'd calm down quite quickly. It's really humbling how frail our societal structures really are. For all the advancements we've made over hundreds upon hundreds of years and  one fucking virus and the world is heading into panic mode and lockdown whilst the Highlands rub their fucking hands in glee.

Again, if it is you that is actually a teacher, that is a highly disappointing response.

If you can't see the humour in a self-proclaimed Tory, who has spent the entire thread abusing the poor, demanding the pulling up of the ladder by demanding everyone stop the exact behaviour he's just been doing, then there is no hope for the education of Scottish youth. The parallels with their views on forcible and newly-imposed equality that ignores historic inequality is just too delectable to pass up. I guess a load of fitba old buys discussing their impending doom wisny the right crowd.

    f**k off, thanks.

  9. I know it's Boris but statements like, 'It is going to spread further and I must level with you, I must level with the British public, many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time.' doesn't suggest to me that it's just gonna be old people and people with underlying health issues.

  10. Thought it was great to see Meekings put his body on the line on Tuesday. Too often I've had my suspicions that his heart isn't in it. On Tuesday, he was clearly suffering from cramp but came straight back on only to take a head to the face as he bravely cleared the ball and then he came back on again. Finally showing 'warrior' like capabilities that you'd expect from a captain.

Genuinely astonished at that. We've been dumping stuff onto Glow and Teams for the past few days.

Re: your second point - possibly, but also possible the exams will go ahead but with adjusted grade boundaries.

I was informed that prelims being used were another possibility, but that brings about all sorts of problems in itself.

Genuinely - our work has put up posters informing people to wash their hands and we've been given a council letter to hand to all pupils, but other than that, nothing.

Not 'teach' as in 'stand in front of 30 teenagers', but we're expected to provide online work, communicate with pupils, give feedback and next steps etc..

If you want to use the literal definition  of teach then of course no, but we're still expected to be working, particularly for classes who have exams in six weeks.

I've heard no such thing and I'm also a teacher.

    ETA:

If we are to go into 'lockdown' as it were - It's unlikely the exams will be on in six weeks.
