  1. yeah, that's where my point was heading, it's time to show a bit more ambition in trying to grow and climb the league, does McGlynn look like he's prepared to do that? of course, there's no reason why he can't still go with the sit in and counter against the top half, but they should look to assert themselves a bit more firmly in terms of controlling games against the lower sides.
  2. i wasn't on the wind-up, i take it you disagree with my observations? Having been massively impressed by McGurn last season, it stood out to see him flapping and I didn't expect to see so many men on your own goal line when defending. Is it the case that you'll only accept the opinions of Rovers fans? I tend to find observations by supporters of other teams quite useful.
  3. advice and observations are two different things entirely.
  4. a couple of wee observations from your Cowden Highlights (so yes, severely limited resource material). McGurn looked pretty Ropey there and hopefully we'll learn that piling crosses in on top him looks as good a goal threat as any. And if the Rovers are defending that deep against Cowdenbeath, there is definite cause for concern.
  5. you'll be surprised by how much you've forgotten. you'll also suddenly realise how huge number one is!
  6. set yourself a maximum price then pick the nicest looking one under that value.
  7. all the bast days start with a good shite, the follow through was just over-confidence, don't be disheartened.
  8. wise in the ways of science indeed you are good sir knight.
  9. there's no doubting that would be a top notch signing for the Rovers, or anyone else in this division for that matter. Still, the article only really states the obvious, Mcglynn would be aff his trumpet to be ruling it out at this stage!
  10. i can never be bothered going to bed come this time of night despite spending all day wishing that's where i was.
  11. youngest daughter (2) coloured the kitcken in this afternoon, all blue and liney. The wife wisnae too chuffed, not sure why though, she's is a Rover's fan afterall.
  12. downside of that one is that you have a garden full off plastic bottles making the beginnings of a landfill site.
