  1. When you look at that segment in the wider context of the statement it actually looks more like they're trying to shift the blame for their own shortcomings rather than having a dig.
  2. Football fans have always looked for an excuse to walk away and the rangers issue is just the latest excuse. We heard it when the SPL was set up and we'll hear it when the SPL folds, but TBH I don't think sporting integrity extends beyond how it affects our individual clubs. If the breaks go our way we celebrate, if they go against us we moan like f**k and talk of boycotts. It's the only thing that remains constant in the game.
  3. Oh dear. You do realise the ultimate prize in the SFL is promotion to a league where "NO other teams have a hope of winning the league, and never will"? In effect you are slogging along to join the big clubs slogging along.
  4. We did it to make money. Should we (SPL clubs) vote to keep rangers in the SPL for the same reason and will the lower league fans understand the actions of SPL chairmen if we do?
  5. Just saw this on the 3rd division board........ If this had been posted by a fan from an SPL side we'd be getting slatted for putting money before sporting integrity etc, but it looks like the parasites have already started counting their windfall from rangers demise. I'm not saying rangers shouldn't be demoted btw, but I kinda hoped they'd have been made to jump through a few hoops before being accepted by the SFL instead of these c***s rolling out the red carpet.
  6. I spoke to one who thought now was the ideal opportunity for them to move to England and stick two fingers up to the SPL and the threat of sanctions.
  7. But....but... I thought these guys were true rangers fans with the best interests of the club at heart?
  8. I hate folk who think collecting dole money is work. Get a job you work-shy c**t.
  9. What's happened to Jim Traynor? He seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
  10. http://www.scotprem.com/content/mediaassets/doc/SPL%20Rules%20as%20at%2019-Dec-11%20(CURRENT).pdf Club ceasing to play and be a member of the League H5 If any Club in the League ceases to operate or to be member of the League for any reason, its playing record in the League maybe expunged and the number of relegation places from the League shall be reduced accordingly.
  11. Is it standard practice for a single political party to enclose material canvassing for your vote if you request a form to register for a postal vote?
  12. If the Atlantic league is to have any credibility it needs A minimum 18k seat rule. Safe standing areas. Reserve teams playing in their own national leagues. Summer football. Two ten team leagues. Wage cap set at 60% of turnover. Require clubs to balance their budgets over any 3-year period. Administration = expulsion from the twenty team set-up Squad size limited to 22 overage players + as many U21's as you like. Split the prize money equally. Start selling alcohol and Kapsalon in controlled areas. More Friday night games/ less Sunday games. Top four from each league play-off for the overall championship.
  13. Own up. Who sent them my blueprint for a dual conference set-up to revolutionise the Scottish game?
  14. Sorry if this has been covered before, but what happens to the bottom team in the SPL re relegation if rangers are liquidated?
  15. I think there was someone on general nonsense looking for a new bike. Maybe a deal could be struck.
  16. I totally agree, and think in this case the SFA should act. I propose that the SFA offer to buy Ibrox and Murrray park from the administrator and turn them into the new national stadium and a national training centre/ centre of excellence. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to pick up a Uefa five star rated stadium and a training base that apparently cost £14m on the cheap. I know it might stick in the craw of some folk that the new national stadium was once the home of rangers, but I'm sure with a wee bit re-branding they'd get over it. The alternative of rangers carrying on as before with all their assets still intact is too unpalatable to consider.
  17. Is there any chance that mad Vlad could lose out on the £1million due for Wallace? That would be sweet.
  18. Is 95 a lot of deliveries? I look at the size of those vans and think you should be doing a lot more.
  19. Thanks again for the heads up on the poundland bovril. Just had one and it was like a little piece of heaven in a small beige cup. I feel so warm and happy inside again.
  20. Cheers for the valuable advice. You may have just saved me a huge disappointment.
