  1. If he's such a supporter of the pyramid then he shouldn't object to teams fulfillling the entry criteria for a pyramid league being admitted to that league. Short travelling distance is not one of those criteria.
  2. Why is Feargal Sharkey wearing a Sons goalkeeping top?
  3. Given the angle caused by the camera it looks as if not all of the ball has crossed the line. The bit that hit the ground , yes, but not the whole ball.
  4. I said he hadn't made up for the error and that the four point swing could relegate us. Yes the manager's decisions and the rest of the team are responsible for where we are. But that mistake was crucial in terms of the relative positions of the two teams on the day (and probably for the confidence of both sides going in to the games immediately after.)
  5. I wasn't saying he was solely responsible. Only that his error caused a four point swing. And he hasn't made up for it yet, though arguably he regained us one of those points against Falkirk. In that context, however, the game vs Aberdeen is irrelevant.
  6. Of course. But that was the most important game for us in the whole restart. We desperately needed not to lose it. How much encouragement did Forfar derive from their three points against us? And if it hadn't been for that mistake we would be above Clyde on goal difference. Mind you we can't score. Will five nil-nils do us?
  7. No he hasn't. That four point swing could be what relegates us.
  8. It's just getting bodies in for the sake of getting bodies in.
  9. Given yesterday's performance we'll go down even if he doesn't.
  10. The Zaire player actually kicked the ball away before the free-kick was taken, though, not just charge it down
  11. At this point, yea. The commentators won't have taken their seats yet.
  12. That's ambiguous. Did you mean they ought to be promoted as a matter of course (ie without reference to playing ability) or that they will be because they're better on the pitch? Anyway, surely in the case of two LL relegations, both the WoS and EoS champions ought to gain promotion each season since the SoS may not have a licenced winner or else its champion will likely be the weakest team of the three in the play-offs?
  13. I've just realised Bestsinceslicebread meant "a case in point." Edited to add:- I see two others have commented on this. (Also, the phrase is actually, "best since sliced bread.")
  14. Carsy is our back-up centre half though.
  15. The English always seem to have called their quarter-finals the Sixth Round. Probably another case of hanging on their naming coat-tails. (See; Championship and Leagues 1 and 2.)
  16. Both those teams have been in a higher division (in Brechin's case two higher) within the past five seasons. Hardly stinking the place out.
  17. Where does their ground sit in comparison to the midline of the Tay Bridge? (I know that boundary is only defined for relegation into the Lowland League not promotion to it but it's an interesting point.)
