Did you read the article? It's talking about the drought and record breaking temperatures(caused by climate change) happening in spring leading to the conditions being perfect for the spread of wildfires in the summer

It's not about what starts the fires(the vast majority are caused by negligence by humans) it's the conditions caused by the dry hot weather (climate change)and de-population of rural areas which is leading to the higher spread of the wildfires. I watch a lot of these police interrogations from the states on youtube, it's weird how they seem to be so forthright and open with the guys doing the interviews. Maybe it's only showing the idiots that think they can outsmart the police because on the Ch4 24hr in police custody every suspect just says "no comment." I was told they are more willing to take on the accusations because remand can take as long as 5 years waiting on the case to get processed in the US. Anyone know if this is true?

I've just read a bit about ULEZ there and it seems most petrol cars registered after 2006 and diesels after 2015 have low enough emissions to avoid a charge. Who is up in arms in Uxbridge about it and how many folk do they think it will impact on? I don't drive so I don't really know the ins and outs of this but the charges of £12.50 a day ULEZ plus £15 congestion charges and the general traffic and parking costs around London would have me running for public transport rather than drive daily.
