  1. Where did you hear this, appears to be under contract down south.
  2. Agree with above, what left backs are out there. I would take McHattie.
  3. Why shouldn't we. All the best sides play with creativity in the middle of the park. The best Raith sides in the past 20 years or so had quality creative midfielders that scored the goals when the strikers maybe didn't.
  4. We have central midfielders but im struggling to name one that can open up the play, play a killer pass and score 10+ goals a season.
  5. Would take Higganbotham and Obadeyi on the evidence of the play offs.
  6. So much I could say about his success, but I would say that he is just a p***k.
  7. Please not Ellis, cheap option never works, schooled by Mcglynn and Murray.
  8. This is a playoff for the SPL. Although it's £20 I think fans must turn up. Without a big home crowd with a loud vocal support the team may struggle. Lets all get behind the team and fill the South Stand.
  9. No disrespect but Connolly is a match winner and probably the most skillful player at the club. Would rather have him playing for us than against us. We should be doing everything we can to sign him on a 2 year deal.
  10. We should be looking to sign Connolly on a 2 year deal but make it clear to him that if an offer comes in then he can go. Win for club with some money coming in and win for the player getting a 2 year deal knowing he's in the shop window for a bigger move.
  11. I've not got a major problem with this idea. We cant even fill one stand with home fans and I'm sure if we did every week the BOD would look at this differently. We don't so getting another 10-20k in the bank from one game makes plenty sense.
  12. It was mentioned earlier today that 4 trialists would be playing. Was that correct. Any views on the players especially the two been mentioned. Are they good enough to come straight into the team
  13. Bring through more than 500 fans and i'm sure you will get behind the goals, otherwise into the Railway stand.
  14. Like I said found his level. When he got recalled did he stand out for us, has he ever stood out for us and if memory serves didn't he get sent off on his return. I know many will be loyal to young players brought through the youth ranks, but if they aren't good enough punt them, otherwise we pay wages for players that will take us down to their level, when those wages are better spent on players that will improve us.
  15. We let Donaldson go cause he clearly wasn't good enough. He found his level when out on loan.
  16. I'm sure the one of the last times I saw Raith play there was a 6-0 drubbing the week after a 9-2 victory against Stenhousemuir.
  17. Would love to see Conroy sign, quality player. Don't know enough about Wighton to comment. Would like to see Murray sign Dale Hilson. On loan to Forfar and speaking to someone that has played with him, rates him highly and stated that he is very direct and quick. Can also play on the left or through the middle. Linked recently with Falkirk but apparently doesn't want to play for Houston.
  18. Why should a season ticket holder get priority. If it was a home game, with the possibility of a sell out then yes I could understand the frustration, howver, this is an away game that will not sell out. Plus not all season ticket holders go to away games, yet many pay at the gate fans still go to away games.
  19. If McGlynn does go then yes we would be mad not to go for Mickey, a Raith legend, Kirkcaldy lad and supporter of the club. Although we are skint perhaps any comp from Hearts would help us get Colin.
  20. Have been saying the same for a while now. The BOD Slag of fans for not singing or attending games, then constantly rely on the same fans to put their hands in their pockets to bail the club out. Yet what real investment have the current board attracted to the club. The only way we will get out of this mess is with new investors on the board willing to make us debt free.
  21. I'm sure with plastic pitches that big grants are available to clubs wanting to install. We genereate no money during the week, so raising some from a plastic pitch can only benefit the club. The club also wouldn't have to pay for training facilites and could train on the pitch.
  22. Thats fine, you keep playing him. Once he loses a bit of confidence then it will spreak to your defence.
  23. I take it Hamill was played wide left, even though most Livi fans have stated he only came on to a game when played through the middle.
