  1. if other fixtures go to form Saturday 20th looks like being a cracking day of football.
  2. Would say that you'd be lucky if there was 30 at Eyemouth vs Dalkeith.
  3. Thanks. Heard a long time ago that they were in with Fife at some point, left to try the East but then tried to go back to fife but they wouldn’t have them. Don’t know if there’s any substance in that story. ?
  4. Was meant to be but I got the call at 10:30 from the Bo’ness Secretary. Not a day for football either way.
  5. the lowland league west would be a feeder at tier 6 on par with the EOS & SOS It wouldn't be a Lowland league then would it? - it would be a WOS league.
  6. why would they set up a Lowland League West - when the current Lowland league covers this geographical area?
  7. Stevie Anderson left to form the excellent folk/country group Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher - later renamed Sinderins. The Law carried on briefly with a replacement guitarist but never quite got over the loss of Stevie. Think they reformed briefly for a one off gig but have otherwise dropped off the radar.
  8. The floodlights don't work if they boil a kettle.
  9. Yes - I wasn't able to attend the match that day and so would have loved to have seen the Dalkeith goals. Alas it's not to be ...so I'm learning to live with my disappointment. Oh and not related to Ianwood44 - don't even know who he is - but seems like a good guy ha ha.
  10. Seems that way. Musselburgh don’t lose many matches but when they do...........
  11. So did we. The 3 goals in 7 minutes at the end of the first half and start of the second were all avoidable. All the best for the rest of the season.
  12. I see your YouTube highlights channel is back working again. Dunbar will be pleased.
  13. Any chance of posting your video highlights/lowlights from last Saturday.?
  14. Reinstatement is granted on the basis that you are signing for the club requesting the reinstatement within 14 days. It doesn't allow you to then go and play for another club in that period.
  15. We aren't joining a circus - we are leaving one.
  16. We have done our research - there will be slightly less travelling in the EOS league for us. Mibbe more for me personally cos I don't live in Dalkeith - but hey ho.
  17. Get your house in order then. If you pay players everything needs to be above board. PAYE, Tax and Pension Schemes etc.
  18. Players sign to the club not the grade. For what it's worth we consulted our players before going public and asking them to sign contract extensions. Most have re-signed some haven't - that's their prerogative. Players come and go - that's football. If none of them wanted to re-sign we'd still be moving EOS.
  19. The meeting last night was very well attended - apart from one club who couldn't make it due to another commitment. It was a really great meeting with nothing but positive vibes coming from both the Board and the rest of the room. The key thing for me is that the EOS board and their member clubs are so welcoming and willing to help newbies compared to the SJFA. This is a massively exciting time for us all.
