  1. Too many. Is Boyd about to be shafted, or news that 1 or 2 have been released.
  2. More fuel on Murdoch to Utd rumours: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/ross-county/937568/dundee-united-in-move-to-sign-ross-county-midfielder-stewart-murdoch/ ETA oops just noticed its all over the Utd thread. I like Murdoch, showed glimpses of being the holding midfielder we've needed, but with Routis coming in, and another midfielder (according to Roy at the meeting) we'll be overloaded.
  3. Gutted for Boyce too, but his form dipped badly after the hand injury. And what now for Goodwillie?
  4. Confirmation in P&J that Jamie Reckord has left the club, and that Boomer will be offered a new contract.
  5. That was the rumour on Saturday, but nothing official yet. Should be an interesting few weeks, most are under contract (for a change), bar Schalk and Gary Woods. Any others?
  6. Hopefully Celtic away is the Wednesday night, since very few of us will be wanting to go anyway.
  7. A great day, didn't see it after last weeks Dens debacle, and didn't see Accies beating Dundee, cheers Martin! Can start planning for next season now, please sign that contract offer Alex.
  8. Not looking great for Boycey's Euro2016 hopes, or more importantly our top6 hopes. Hopefully he can play with that brace again. In other news, almost made it to the Plymouth v York game this afternoon, gave up when I realised I would miss the first half. It would have been pleasing to see McNamara's greeting coupon.
  9. Bloody hell Stagsby did you get out of bed the wrong side this morning? It was a flippant remark from me but thanks for the advice anyway.. On the Dens game next week, Bain and Harkins out for them. Harkins can either be a pudding or a matchwinner and I'm glad he's missing. Read somewhere we're getting the stand behind the goal which makes for a much better Dens experience. Surely we can get 2 or 3 buses to this. 'Mon the Staggies indeed.
  10. Curran has certainly been through the mill recently - https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/ross-county/845456/craig-curran-still-hopes-he-can-play-again-this-season/
  11. Heard last week not even half of the 20 free buses are full yet. Although just about everyone I know is either using the train or car and making a weekend or at least overnight trip of it. There may have been quite a lot holding off until they get paid this week. Still have to get my lot.
  12. Let us hope he is more of a Melvin de Leeuw than a Darren Maatsen...
  13. Twitter talk that Schalk has indeed joined until end of season. Know nothing about him, enlighten me. Saturday showed that with Curran out injured, we definitely need another option.
  14. Considering we got a reported £85k? for Kevin Luckassen, I'll be expecting £5M for Boycey.
  15. 5hrs later but I'm still in shock re Woods. His free-kicks were horrendous, remember that one at the dump? A worldly v Motherwell in the game that changed our season, but I dunno, just never took to him. Did he not f**k up in the last game of the season at Killie too and gift a goal? Disappointed at the Bachmann news too, thought we had 2 good keepers there.
  16. Wasn't aware of that site, good old Roy Bremner and his Brownie instamatic (as Sugar would say..)
  17. I said yesterday that Fraser's break into the box for that 2nd goal reminded me of Gary Millers rampaging runs in our Div1 winning season, but it was actually much better. Pity the camera angle/height is so crap at the GES, doesn't do it justice.
  18. and a few 'trialists' on show apparently. No names yet.
  19. Golabek and Duffers still on the coaching staff alongside Davie Kirkwood?
  20. Best of luck to RB. I hope like Ketts we can find some way of keeping him involved at County. Was never going to move south with his family settled here and clearly his priority (who knew?) - but surely he was offered a contract at a higher level. Far more atmosphere at Dudgeon than McDiarmid anyway.
  21. Paul Quinn and Steven Ross leaving, Quinn linked with Aberdeen. That's a blow.
  22. Looking forward to pre-season already. With Sports Scientist Ross Hughes I'm sure all the players will have strict plans to follow, not that they didn't under Adams, but Yoann Arquin and his pot-belly in Wick was a bit worrying. Players used to moan/joke about pre-season and endless running around the Jubilee under Adams, maybe that's why we never started playing football until January..
