Just checking in. CAB were about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike but my local unemployed workers centre were more helpful. Made the initial claim for ESA (politically correct name for sickness/incapacity benefit) today. Hoping this is only a temporary arrangement. In a strange way I feel a bit better about no going back to that job. Was a horrible wee place.The worry and anexiety that I had in there however is gradually being replaced with worries about money etc if it takes me a while to get back on my feet. Theres other family issues as well that were causing me to feel down that I'll no bother going into (one dissertation in a lifetimes plenty lol). As you can tell by the time of this post I'm still no really sleeping. Least I'm no boozing though and I'm trying to think positively about whats along the road. Probably already been mentioned at some point on here but can anybody recommend a good helpline for when you are feling really low? Not due back at the doctor for a couple of weeks.

Anybody else using PCs/Laptops at the minute having some problems? Just ran a 3 hour PPV and it went perfectly fine. Don't know if any of them would give me a reference, I would end up with egg on my face if I put someone down and it got knocked back at job offer stage. I would agree that I'm not fit to work at present. Going to reasses that at the end of my sick line.

No disciplinary level warnings no . They were aware that I was a heavy drinker and took small doses of fluoxetine.They can sack you at any point during a probationary period though and I don't think my face really fitted in there. For example, 2 of the things that got put in my work record were my supposed half arsed job at emulshoning the office, and my failure to fix the phone line when they were misconfigured. I didn't like the Operations Manager in there,and he (obviously) didn't like me.

Graduate Trainee Manager in a factory. Was a good opportunity that I've blown, I realise that. But at the same time, the job and some of the people in it played a fair part in turning me into what I've become. Aye, I'm going to CAB on Monday. I phoned HR and they are now saying that I am not entitled to statuory sick pay because my sick line only started on Wednesday and they don't pay for the first 3 days of sick pay (my sacking letter was posted yesterday). Not sure what benefits I am entitled to in the meantime and wheither or not I will be OK for JSA after this 4 week line expires.

Aye the old depression eh. I was sent home from work on Tuesday due to being in 'no condition to perform' due to a mixture of heavy drinking the previous night and taking high doses of fluoxetine on the Tuesday morning. The job broke me but I know I've got a lot of my own personal issues as well. I went to seek medical advice on Wednesday morning and have been signed off work for 4 weeks due to anexiety and depression (my GP kindly kept quiet my alcohol issues when signing the form although my employer is aware of them). I was then sacked this morning by letter for my non appearence at work on Wednesday despite me having followed the absence procedure and sending in the sick note by registered post (these letters likely crossed over). I wonder if I have got a leg to stand on legally here? Probably not as I was currently on an extended probationary period in this job. I am hoping I can at least negotiate the 4 weeks statuory sick pay with HR before getting my jotters. Sad realisation now that at 23 will have to start again at life. Ah well bring it on.

Right If you've been done for assault and breach of the peace and then found at court to be not guilty of all charges are you entitled to any help with your legal costs? Assume at this point you are not entitled to any legal aid so have had to pay all of your own lawyers fes etc.

What is the exact salary cut off for having to repay a student loan? I am getting differing info on this. And also, if you are just be low it and you work overtime in certain months that will push you over the cut off, would you have to make repayments in these months but not the months that you had no overtime.

Can anyone work out for me exactly how much holiday time I am due from work (I am clueless at these things and so is every other c**t in there). Situation is - I started a new job on Wednesday October 9th and was today told that I am due a few paid holidays before the end of 2013 but am unsure exactly how much. The holiday structure is 28 days a year pro rata (which includes 2 days at Christmas that I will have to deduct from what I am due).

Waltman often no-showed TNA events in the past. Dont blame him mind you.

JBL has been getting the odd random jab in on commentary the last couple of months about JR being a drunk so he mightve been.
