It's funny how everyone sees things differently - I thought Boyle had him on toast that day. Tbf, Boyle is one of the best players in the league on his day, not sure that one's entirely down to Cadden. With Ayr being top of the league, it might be difficult for him to get as much game time as he needs. Going out on loan is good for him I think, but I'd hate for him to sit on Ayrs bench as much as he was sitting on ours. As everyone has said, confidence player, but when he's on it then he's unplayable at Championship level. Hope it works out. Lots of loanees to keep an eye on over the next few months. -

Precontracts in Scotland aren't worth the paper they're written on. We learned that the hard way with Calum Elliot a couple of years ago. P***k. Dykes is a decent signing. A little like an Aussie Menga. The pair of them up front together would be utter chaos. We'd never score, but it'll be a laugh. Not fully sold on Odoffin. I know absolutely nothing about the boy, but I saw Cambridge v Northampton a couple of weeks ago and the level was pretty poor - and he didn't even get off the bench. Still, that's me making snap judgements while knowing nothing about the boy, lets see what happens. -

Hah, my uncle's a big QoS fan, so I've heard and seen a lot about Dykes. Flatters to deceive a lot. The same criticisms people throw at Menga will be thrown at him. On the other hand, clearly has some technical ability, and makes Dobbie look very good these days. Certainly not going to be that #9 we need once Hardie leaves. -

It'll be tough for both of them. The championship is a difficult league, but it's a good move for Hamilton. He's got the potential to do well there if he can get a run of games. Henk could be outstanding or a disaster for Dumbarton. Both of them have a lot of potential, and both moves will hopefully work out to be great for everyone involved. We've got to be looking to bring in someone up top now surely? -

Yeah, I'm surprised we've let him go. He's the best defensive minded RWB we have, although tbf Lawless has made the position his own. If Lawless gets injured though, we might regret that. -

Fuuuck sake. Can't be doing with any of that nonsense. Why the f**k is someone singing IRA songs at a Livi/Hearts game? Good on you for telling them where to go with that attitude. -

Any news on the injuries to Menga & Halkett? Both would be absolutely massive losses if they were out for a sustained period of time -

Decent. Could play CB or centre forward. I'd say Morton might be a stretch too far, might be more of a L1 player. -

Partick fans seem piiised at him leaving if twitter is anything to go by. Seemed odd when news surfaced this morning, but he's a good player and deserves a fair crack of the whip. Good luck to the boy -

Yeah, I wouldn't be too keen on Henderson tbh. That's a massive jump. Shades of Jordyn Sheerin. -

Lost 3-2 to Vitesse this afternoon. Not a bad result, seeing as they scored the winner after we'd made 8 subs. Odegaard, the Norwegian wonderkid on loan from Real, scored from the edge of the box to put them 2-1 up. Best part of the whole thing is that De Vita got 15 minutes though -

I still think that Lamie's only first choice LWB while Halkett's still here. But yeah, where would he even play? We don't need a traditional left winger, and I'd be surprised if Holt was planning a formation change over the winter break -

https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/17341002.steven-gerrard-admits-further-rangers-arrivals-could-depend-on-ibrox-exits-this-month/ Tl;dr: Hardie's probably being shipped back out on loan for the second half of the season. You'd have to assume that we'll be the most likely destination for him. -

I agree tbh. I think he would after 6 months and/or a preseason, but with the McKenna hype and the partnership he's made with Devlin, Halkett's not getting in there without an injury. I could still see him going to Rangers on a PCA and sticking around until the summer. Also Hibs will be looking for an Ambrose replacement right about now, don't think they could do much better tbh. -

Has Bobby Burns definitely gone back? Something funny went on there - he just vanished after the Pittodrie game. I'm still expecting Hardie back post-break unless we get an official announcement otherwise. Not surprised that Gerrard is taking a look, but with the options they have then I expect him to stay with us for the rest of the season anyway. Byrne to Dundee is crazy talk. I'd be stunned if it happened. Dundee would have to triple his salary for him to even think about it, and even then he'd likely get the same offer from elsewhere. Bradford is the move for him that I'd be afraid of materialising. If he goes, we'll need to try and find someone else to fit that destroyer mould - Lawson/Sibbald wouldn't do it. -

Lamie? Tbh I imagine that Lamie will be a direct replacement for Halkett if he goes and we'll be looking for another LWB. -

Yeah, Bobby Burns hasn't been seen since Pittodrie. Injured I assume? Has he gone back? -

I wanna talk about Steve Lawson. I have no idea what I think about him. I feel like he has a lot of potential. His technical ability seems pretty good. When given time to pick a pass, he seems like he has the ability and vision to pull off a better pass than most. He also seems to shit it out of every tackle he goes into. It stands out in a team that loves a good sliding tackle or an aggressive aerial battle. Seems like he’s a little afraid of getting hurt. Where’s he supposed to even play? He plays right back for the Togo national team, but when he’s played on the right for us then he’s been dogshit. He doesn’t have the tackling ability to dislodge SB, SP or KJ, as without that tenacity in midfield then the better teams in this league will just cut us open again and again. I fear that he’s a luxury that we can’t afford and he’ll never settle in this team. Which is a shame, as he’s clearly technically gifted. -

Egli's gone home. Shame, I liked the look of him, think he was a little unfortunate not to get that much game time. Spent a lot of time out of the team in the early part of the season after we went on our 7 match undefeated streak and then just never managed to fight his way back in. -

So what's the story with Ejaria? Looked like he was a nailed on starter when fit, what's caused him to leave? Just didn't want to play any more?
