  1. I love this team. Dominating the 3rd force, 5 wins in a row at home, haven't conceded once. Holt's manager of the season by a mile so far.
  2. I'm fucking delighted that Dolly is back: 1) We've spent all season lamenting the fact that we don't have a backup striker. 2) The tight bond between players and the upbeat dressing room has been a massive part of our success over the last 3 years. He's clearly a big personality in the dressing room, and knows exactly how to keep that atmosphere going 3) Last season we played with wingbacks rather than wingers. Lawless has excelled in the new role, and I expect Menga will too. His shooting boots are clearly shit, but his direct running, power and unpredictability fit a lot better to the winger role 4) He's fucking box office. None of our other players have attempted to headbutt someone for no reason against the OF this year. The Mengabus is coming.
  3. Yeah, going to Rangers now wouldn't get him a game. He'd be backup until Defoe gets fit again, and then he wouldn't even be that. Don't think it would be the best career move, however good for his wallet it would be. There are enough championship sides sniffing around. I don't expect him to be here next season, I'm just hopeful he sticks around for the rest of the season. Regarding price, I think he'd go for around 600k.
  4. Decent. He clearly has potential but has a severe lack of game time. Hopefully Ayr's not too high a level for him.
  5. I'd love for that to be true. Would make it a hell of a window, as long as Dykes sticks around. Where're you hearing this?
  6. Glad to see Stewart go out on loan. He's got a lot of potential, I'd have been happy with him being our #1 for the rest of the season. Still, from the one game McCrorie's played for us so far, he looks like an upgrade. But you'll be absolutely fine with Stewart.
  7. I'd bump Lamie up to must keep, but other than that then this is spot on. It's a shame how Tiffoney has worked out, there's clearly a player in there and I reckon he'll be a Premiership player in a few years time, but he just doesn't fit with what we do.
  8. Would be delighted, he's a class above everyone we have but I can't see it happening.
  9. That's Sarkic gone. Shame. I think it's a bad move for all parties, as while he's been good for us and has great potential, he's not even close to EPL quality. Limiting his game time between now and the end of the season isn't going to help him or Villa.
  10. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him come in until the end of the season. He'll have played with Bartley at Hibs for a while, good 6 months here gets him back in the market. Would be a massive coup for us as well, he's a stunning CB at this level. On that note, what's Bilel Moshni up to these days?
  11. Hah, I feel like all I'm doing today is shitting on our best players but I really like Stewart and I don't think Sarkic is that much of an upgrade. He's definitely not EPL ready. He's definitely claimed the #1 jersey though, deservedly so and I hope he sticks around, but I don't think it's a disaster if he goes. We'd need to get a #2 in quickly in January though. I'd be surprised if Villa recalled him though. If it was February instead and they had no other options, then possibly, but they can go out and buy a better keeper than Sarkic right now. I'm betting paper talk.
  12. I kind of agree with this. Lawson has the potential to be a fantastic asset for us, and when he's on his game then he's the best player in the team. However I never have any faith in his defensive abilities at all. Is very often out of position and is very weak in the tackle (see the St Mirren game). On the other hand he's as good a creative player as anyone else in the squad. Hopefully we can find a spot for him further up the pitch, although he's defo done a good job overall since coming back into the team.
  13. The only game I've seen ATS in was up in Aberdeen, and I felt like he was a liability in that game. Too big a gap between him and the CBs on too many occassions, and didn't seem to be showing any skill going forward either. Although by all accounts, he seems to have done well and perhaps this was just a bad game.
  14. Potentially. Better that than him being taken now I guess, when he inevitably moves on then it would be much better for us if it happens in the summer.
  15. Alex Dyer's just been given the Killie job until the end of the season. That's amazing news for us.
  16. Apparently County might ask for a postponement as they've only got 8 fit players: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/ross-county/1916721/county-trip-to-livingston-under-threat-after-virus-sweeps-staggies-squad/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  17. His playing career isn't far off being over. He can't keep fit for more than a week at a time. As a manager however, I think he'd be great. His attitude has been perfect his entire time here, which is something Falkirk could benefit from.
  18. Savane just seems to have been a bit of a disaster. If he's left this early into a 2 year deal, then I assume we're not paying it off. Can't say I know a thing about Aaron Taylor-Sinclair. Doesn't seem to have played that much, so is probably only providing competition for places. No harm in a short term deal. Can we sign a striker next plz.
  19. He's come off the bench a few times, he's not completely out of the picture, but he's not exactly setting the heather alight. Might make him more determined to stick around and fight for his place. I honestly think that if he was still here we'd have 5 more points this season. While he's not a traditional CF, he'd be better than all of our other backup options.
  20. His Angola trip doesn't seem to have gone as well as he was hoping for. He's mainly just getting substitute appearances. I don't think that Angola callup is coming any time soon.
  21. I expect us to take the lead and then lose. 2-1 Well.
  22. Cece Pepe's never started alongside Dykes either, but I'm also ruling that one out. I take your point though, I like Tiffoney and I'd like to see him get more game time, but he just doesn't seem to fit. He's too lightweight for up top in the system that we're playing, and he's behind the list of players I mentioned for either of the wing spots or the most advanced CM. I'd be all for shipping him out on loan again in January.
  23. I'm not entirely sure why Tiffoney is even in the conversation to be honest. I like him, and he has potential, but he's behind Dykes, Robinson, Lawless, Souda, Erskine, Sibbald, Miller, Crawford and Stobbs in the 'attacking player' ranks. Could argue that Lawson would be ahead of him anywhere but up front as well. Simple 4-2-3-1 with Lawless, Robinson and one of Souda/Sibbald/Crawford behind Dykes up top.
