It'll be tough for both of them. The championship is a difficult league, but it's a good move for Hamilton. He's got the potential to do well there if he can get a run of games. Henk could be outstanding or a disaster for Dumbarton. Both of them have a lot of potential, and both moves will hopefully work out to be great for everyone involved. We've got to be looking to bring in someone up top now surely?

Yeah, I'm surprised we've let him go. He's the best defensive minded RWB we have, although tbf Lawless has made the position his own. If Lawless gets injured though, we might regret that.

I agree tbh. I think he would after 6 months and/or a preseason, but with the McKenna hype and the partnership he's made with Devlin, Halkett's not getting in there without an injury. I could still see him going to Rangers on a PCA and sticking around until the summer. Also Hibs will be looking for an Ambrose replacement right about now, don't think they could do much better tbh.

Has Bobby Burns definitely gone back? Something funny went on there - he just vanished after the Pittodrie game. I'm still expecting Hardie back post-break unless we get an official announcement otherwise. Not surprised that Gerrard is taking a look, but with the options they have then I expect him to stay with us for the rest of the season anyway. Byrne to Dundee is crazy talk. I'd be stunned if it happened. Dundee would have to triple his salary for him to even think about it, and even then he'd likely get the same offer from elsewhere. Bradford is the move for him that I'd be afraid of materialising. If he goes, we'll need to try and find someone else to fit that destroyer mould - Lawson/Sibbald wouldn't do it.

Lamie? Tbh I imagine that Lamie will be a direct replacement for Halkett if he goes and we'll be looking for another LWB.

I wanna talk about Steve Lawson. I have no idea what I think about him. I feel like he has a lot of potential. His technical ability seems pretty good. When given time to pick a pass, he seems like he has the ability and vision to pull off a better pass than most. He also seems to shit it out of every tackle he goes into. It stands out in a team that loves a good sliding tackle or an aggressive aerial battle. Seems like he’s a little afraid of getting hurt. Where’s he supposed to even play? He plays right back for the Togo national team, but when he’s played on the right for us then he’s been dogshit. He doesn’t have the tackling ability to dislodge SB, SP or KJ, as without that tenacity in midfield then the better teams in this league will just cut us open again and again. I fear that he’s a luxury that we can’t afford and he’ll never settle in this team. Which is a shame, as he’s clearly technically gifted.

What is the transfer record? 1.25m for Fernandez?

Egli's gone home. Shame, I liked the look of him, think he was a little unfortunate not to get that much game time. Spent a lot of time out of the team in the early part of the season after we went on our 7 match undefeated streak and then just never managed to fight his way back in.

So what's the story with Ejaria? Looked like he was a nailed on starter when fit, what's caused him to leave? Just didn't want to play any more?

Menga's been offered a 2 match ban for the headbutt. Even though he didn't touch him.

Keaghan would be POTS for me so far, with Byrne and Gallagher close behind. I was surprised to see him dropped this weekend. Not been impressed by Lawson yet either, but I missed this week so I'm glad that he looks to be getting up to speed. If there was anyone I'd take out of the midfield right now then it would be Pittman. I think he's an excellent player, but both Byrne and Keaghan have been better so far this season IMO.
