  1. And yet, none of them are starters normally, and none of them cost anywhere near the ridiculous amounts of money that Chelsea have spunked against a wall, going into extra time Liverpool had no right to win that against a much more experienced Chelsea side, but the fact of the matter is they bottled it, pure and simple, against kids and reserves.
  2. I hope we turn up nice and refreshed after our weekend break there, if we start with Rowles and Atkinson, I worry, if we don't, we win, it's that simple!
  3. So the team that finished the game was Kelleher, VVD, Tsimikas, Elliot, Diaz, Gomez, McConnell, Quansah, Danns, Clark, and Endo, of this group of players, only VVD and Diaz are guaranteed starters when everyone is fit, but I guess haters gonna hate. the seethe because Liverpool turned over the billion quid bottle jobs with untested kids is terrific.
  4. I felt he was very pedestrian, sideways and backwards and slowed us down greatly, a bit like Perry Kitchen (shudder), albeit better than Perry, but wouldn't even make the bench with today's squad.
  5. Husref Musemic Bosnian player who only played 6 games for Hearts, and scored 3 goals, but he did manage a winner in a derby match against the wee team, so he's up there as a cult hero.
  6. It was always going to take time to train the Robbie Neilson out of that lot, but he's getting there now and really improving some players who most of us thought were duds!
  7. Rangers taking no chances for Saturday by appointing Nick Walsh as referee
  8. I voted to keep it because Dundee appear to have been fucked over quite a few times with it, so I'm in
  9. Cheers for that lads, it was reported on Saturday it was his 6th booking and he misses the Celtic game, thankfully this isn't the case as we'd struggle to put 4 past them without him, it might only be 3
  10. A moon howling bag of wind, perfect for the Hibs job!
  11. they were saying on Saturday it was his 6th booking and he misses the Celtic game now, please tell me they got it wrong.
  12. We stunk the place out in our previous home game against Motherwell and lost 0-1, it was one of the worst performances I've seen in a while, but we've certainly came on leaps and bounds since then and we're starting to click a bit now, I fancy us to get the 3 points today, I'll go for Hearts 4 Motherwell 2
  13. Rangers died and the Hearts survived doo daaa, doo daaa!
  14. I was there that day in 1987, my only trip to Cappielow, for a 0-0 draw on Boxing Day I'm sure Hibs away is always an easy fixture for us mate
  15. chuffed to get through that one unscathed really (apart from Halk's injury), I felt we played well against a very impressive Airdrie side who never stopped running and chasing, I can see Airdrie making the play offs for sure! I was also dreading that plastic pitch as we don't usually play well on them, but that pitch puts tinpot outfits like Livingston and Hamilton to shame, it seemed really good to play on.
  16. The Boyle dive was a shocker, he should be hailed before the beaks for that one, but the handball would be reviewed at the other end for sure, and that's the difference.
  17. I've no doubt he'll keep you up but it won't be pretty, but why should you really care about that tbh? Anyway, was never a penalty, it hit the top of his arm and you can't count that as a chance, I'm not having it
  18. If you want to defend that type of football then knock yourself out pal, we saw it long enough at Tynecastle and it's eye bleedingly piss poor, my optician was sending my bills to Tynecastle for the amount of times he made me eyes bleed!
  19. The fermers never laid a glove on us apart from one header cleared off the line, it was a controlled performance for the most part, and Levein's tactics are still eye bleedingly bad. Shanks is something else though
  20. After seeing County twice this season, there's no danger they're 5 goals worse than Motherwell, the players have chucked it and he's lost the dressing room imo.
  21. I'm not so sure, the Gordon's lost a chunk of cash and all of a sudden they're looking for major investment, I wouldn't be shocked if this led to something else in the long run like a proper takeover, Ron Gordon seemed like a good guy with good intentions, his son doesn't appear to have the same interests. Foley has big plans for Bournemouth apparently, but we've yet to see any wheels in motion for them, and Lorient had their prize asset sold to Bournemouth for £20M, an asset that could have kept them up, it's not so much that they're a yo-yo team in the French leagues, it's the fact that Foley promised them the Earth, top 6 football, and a place in Europe, and he's delivered nothing. I guess only time will tell, but if I was a Hibs fan I'd be more than a tad concerned where the club is heading because no one makes money out of Scottish football.
