  1. Source please? The only place I've seen this line trotted out is on here, and mostly by you. McGlynn walked because he was offered better terms at Falkirk and didn't want to take any blame for DG. Nothing more, nothing less.
  2. 46 year old virgin who still lives in his parents spare room.
  3. You're the one that attacked me matey. Come and introduce yourself at the next home game big man
  4. Great comeback, top bantz and so original You'll need a lie down now, must have been exhausting for you there. I can actually imagine you struggling to type that comment through tears of laughter at your own 'joke'.
  5. There is no place for reasoned and balanced opinion such as this on here
  6. I'm the twat? Good to see the mouth breathers back out tonight Me no like John McGlynn, John McGlynn bad. Me like (the dick formerly known as) Raith Against the Machine, he good f**k off
  7. Jesus, you really are a tedious c**t aren't you? And I'm a moron why? Because I'm calling you out? Because I don't subscribe to your perma-offended mantra? What has happened has been an absolute shit show, the club has screwed up big time but it's time to draw a line and begin to move on. Put more simply for you, STFU.
  8. What f**k do you give where Raith Rovers finish in the league ?
  9. And what did you want? Did you want him to sacrifice himself in disgrace in front of everyone? He looked uncomfortable as hell but who wouldn't? He came across as sincere, honest and remorseful.
  10. You're boring now. I think if anyone needs to go at the end of the season (or at any time between now and then), it's you. You're absolutely desperate to be outraged now. Give it a fucking rest.
  11. Pointless puff piece from a journalist butt hurt that he's been locked out of the inner circle
  12. He'd get bored if he had to listen to you for more than 5 minutes. Change the record ffs. You seem to be conveniently forgetting about the forthcoming development behind the North Stand. Or is that not big enough either? Maybe it's ROI isn't strong enough business csse for you? I assume you have access to RRFC business planning details as you seem be ITK for all things related to revenue generation at the club?
  13. So, just so I'm clear... Some of the reasons that there should be a total boycott of season ticket sales is because a local power grid failure caused our floodlights to go out and because the owner invested his own money in a portacabin that isn't as big as you thought it would be. You're being sarcastic though, right?
  14. I think I've just caught up on several days worth of posts and what I've read is mostly grim. First of all, before I get called a "rape apologist" - a term that just needs to be booted into the sea really (there are no "rape apologists" on P&B or even in the boardroom of evil at Starks Park), I want to be clear that my view is that anyone found to guilty of a crime as serious as DG was judged to be has no place in professional football However, he has been allowed to have that place for the 5 years following the civil case and that is a failing of EVERYONE involved in Scottish Football (although some more so than others, obviously). And include in that the clubs, governing bodies, sponsors, fans, media, politicians and so on. The relatively low amount of fuss (and it was relatively low when compared to the shit show we've seen over the past week) and subsequent indifference to DG playing for Clyde is acceptance by silence. Maybe if fans had protested at every ground, media outlets ran negative opinion pieces and ex-board members used their relative celebrity status to lobby Scottish Football authorities, then we don't get here. Maybe if our politicians took more of an interest when it wasn't their friends expressing disgust, maybe if the governing bodies had any kind of clue, then we don't get here. Our BoD, our management team, are not supportive of rapists. They are a bunch of old guys badly out of touch with modern society and too arrogant to listen to advice, although they in all likelihood, risk assessed the backlash against what levels Clyde had seen. These were monumentally bad and ill-judged decisions. But hounding them all out of Raith Rovers tomorrow is not the answer. In general, our support did a great job in letting those who run the club have fucked up but this witch hunt and talks of community funded buy outs is just mental. 1. You can't just remove the entire management structure of a business overnight and expect it to survive. Up until this time last week RRFC was in the best position it had been for years... Instead of burning at the stake, maybe supporters engagement with the board will help educate and drive better decision making in future? 2. Anyone expecting John Sim to simply sell up (and on the cheap) is living in cloud cuckoo land. Running any campaign to starve the club of cash will end the club completely. Football clubs like RRFC are more than their owners or managers of the day... I want this team to still be here in the future when all of this is just a black day in our history... I will not support any action that damages us further. And just to reiterate, we are all in someway culpable for the situation. Even the seemingly self appointed moral compass of our support @McGuigan1978... For it seems even he, in submissions to his Terrace blog and BBC Sport website, has indicated acceptance of DGs prescence in the lower leagues by way of a nod to his performances on the football pitch... Not something that someone outraged about a rapist playing football would do?
  15. It's not whataboutery. I'm not making any excuses for anyone. I just wondered if you thought his crimes were acceptable for the captain of a championship football club. Haven't seen Nicola Sturgeon tweeting about that. Look, if you're going to have morals, be consistent about it
  16. Anyone want to pass comment on Alan Lithgow's past convictions?
  17. I'm fucking thick? Why? Do I agree with the signing? No, not really. Do I despair at the hysteria and hypocrisy? Yes. People don't like to be challenged on shit like that. One crime is more serious than others, but neither is excusable or welcome so why is Benedictus' history tolerated? He battered 2 blokes and verbally abused his ex partner to a point that she was shit scared.... That's pretty bad, no? The notion that it's OK because it's a lesser crime is frankly ridiculous. If you can't see that, then you are the one who is "fucking thick"
  18. Can you show me where I have defended David Goodwillie? I await your apology. Thanks
  19. The most rational post I've read on this whole subject.
  20. So one is OK because the serious crime was less serious than another. Don't forget the restraining order If you're taking the moral high ground, neither should be anywhere near the club.
  21. Answer the question smart arse. I'm taking a pragmatic, non-commital view. Also, trying to judge the level of hypocrisy
  22. How does everyone feel about Kyle Benedictus' criminal record of serious assault and restraining order? Just putting out there... Interested to hear how it's justified that our club captain is celebrated despite a conviction for a serious and violent crime?
