  1. What a bunch of sad, bitter and twisted little p***ks on here. Have the minutes silence and keep your mouth shut for 1 minute. It's not difficult unless you're a 5 year old.
  2. So there is no conscious or subjective decision making process involved in postponing a game for weather related issues? The weather just decides? I'm obviously being facetious but you get my point. Bunch of grown adults wetting their pants beacuse a game of football is postponed... What a time to be alive.
  3. It's a sad state of affairs when people are so embittered by their political views that they lack the humility to show a little respect imo. In all honesty, I'm delighted the games off this.weekend. Hopefully next week too because we need the time to re-group, get some players fit and hopefully bring in a signing or 2... Could be a blessing in disguise
  4. I think given some of the social policy decisions made in the US recently, I'd be a little more cognisant of passing comments about outdated views if I was you
  5. "What about the money I've spent on travel?" Shout the affronted. The same folks that would scream at the rain if the pitch was waterlogged and the game got called off.
  6. I'm not sure anyone from the USA is in any position to lecture on societal norms or their appropriateness tbh
  7. Big team revealed I'd be delighted if both Rangers and Celtic played in empty stadiums for ever more so we didn't need to listen to their supporters drivel and have it beamed across the world for others to also hear.
  8. If you think being pragmatic is condescending then bash on but that probably says more about you than it does me tbh. Definitely a plus for us not to be playing this weekend. It's not feasible to put the decision in the hands of clubs... That's just bonkers and opens up cans of worms. The governing bodies needed to make a call either way and they have. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it wrong. And, I'd also agree that the fear of booing etc played a part. If it has, then that is a sad indictment of our society in general.
  9. That was in response to the morons shouting FTQ during the "silence". 2 wrongs don't make a right but do you want to be seeing scenes like that up and down the country? Imagine the behaviour of Celtic fans... It would be like the Poppy stuff x100
  10. Like I said, it's a gesture. It's how Scottish Football has chosen to show respect. Accept it and move on, you're just coming across as childish.
  11. It's the optics of it... It's a gesture. Is that too hard for you to understand? There will be other considerations too. Big pressure on policing in the coming days.
  12. You'll be absolutely fucking seething when the funeral gets arranged for next Saturday. There's a fair few.of you that need to grow up judging by the posts. Regardless of anyone's politics, decisions have been made in an effort to show respect. I've always found mourning of someone who didn't even know you exist absurd but there is nothing wrong with showing respect. Football's off for a week ... Get over it Good chance the weather would've done it anyway.
  13. At a very quick glance, they look comparable to or not as good as Rovers' offering. This is what it costs... Tbh, a 3-course meal, match ticket, programme, prosecco, tea/coffee and a pie for £70 isn't that bad. Once you take out the pie, programme and tickets, where else are you getting a decent 3-course meal from for under £50 these days?? I'd agree it offers less value for STHs but it's hardly wildly over-priced.
  14. Dundee offers hospitality packages from £75 Morton £109 (£10 discount for STHs) Cove Rangers £75 for off-site hospitality Partick £105 (£15 discount for STHs) Looks to me like the club has the pricing right?? I'm sure you'll be aware of the external factors affecting customers and businesses alike? Something that will absolutely be impacting Raith Rovers, their supporters, local businesses and community in general?
  15. That and the pish being spouted on here about the aforementioned "issues"
  16. Absolutely sums up the knicker-wetting going on in here perfectly
  17. You're like a broken record. A boring one at that. Move on. The majority of people are trying to.
  18. Well this has escalated quickly. We've gone from having a thread bare squad to Murray must go, devious board room activities, pending financial peril, whistleblowing "board members" meeting fans for beers to dish the dirt and dragging up the whole Goodwillie debacle again... All because we've lost 2 games. It's a fucking riot supporting the Rovers. Really though, I think there's a few of you here that just aren't cut out for supporting a small club, maybe best for your own mental health if you find something else to occupy your time with.
  19. I assume you've never been unfortunate enough to suffer an ACL rupture?
  20. This Cannot understand the mentality of people who buy a ticket for one seat, then proceed to sit somewhere else completely different, especially when you get to pick the seat the ticket is for in the first place. Absolutely mind boggling
