  1. Posted a new thread but got no response, maybe get some luck in here.  Looking to get a GoPro or similar action camera, mostly for recording coaching sessions. Are GoPro's worth the extra cash or are the similar but less well know brands like Veho and Apeman just as good, since the spec is the same?

  2. I've been considering getting a dog for some time, but it has to be a hypoallergenic one.  Been looking at Kyi Leos but have no idea how to go about getting one.  I've looked on Google but obviously I'd rather get it from a reputable seller/breeder.  Anyone have any good sites where I could have a look?

This. Also watching the latest series of American Horror Story, which is great apart from Kathy Bates' accent, which starts off in Lancashire and takes a grand tour of the Celtic fringe of the British Isles over the course of each episode.

She's got previous though - in the Freakshow season she attempted something she claimed was a Baltimore accent and didn't sound anything like one.

I think it's got to the stage they're bamming her up that she's great with accents so she'll do something bizarre each year.

Have you seen The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas tho?  Supposedly German family speaking in posh English accents, weird.

  4. I started going to the gym 3 times a week about 9/10 weeks ago.  Monday is chest/arms, Wed is legs and Fri is core.  Before every session I do 24 mins HIIT cardio, 1 min at 11.5km/h and 30 secs at 14.5km/h with a warm up and warm down.  I'm 6"2, was 14st 3lbs before i started going, now down to about 13st 9lbs, but still got a bit of a beer gut when relaxed.  Diet is strict through the week but tend to be a bit daft at the weekends with takeaways etc.  Hopefully if I rein it in i can get shot of the gut.

I feel your pain! I've had 3 punctures in my life.

    1) At a big roundabout in Dumbarton

    2) On the back road between Ayr and Dumfries

    3) In the Mabie forest on Christmas Day

First 2 was pissing down. 3rd was in a snow blizzard

I've had 2.  One in my own car on the military road between Loch Lomond and Faslane (on the way to Rosneath) and the other in my previous work's 4x4 at Killiecrankie Forestry Car Park.  Had been up at the radio site up that way and the track on the way down was pretty rough to say the least.  Pishing down both days, couldn't get the spare wheel off the 4x4, had to wait 2.5 hours for the RAC :thumbsdown:thumbsdown

I've had a look at the type of product you're talking about and it should be fine as long as you're running an HDMI cable all the way to the TV still, and you have an IR injector.

Edit: The IR injector will be the "eye" you're talking about.

Yeah that's disappointing, the wall I'm putting the TV on is the chimney breast and is in the middle of the room and was hoping there would be no cables on show, which isn't looking like it's gonna happen!  Cheers for the help mate.

  7. OK, I've managed to successfully raggle my wall in preparation for putting the TV on the wall.  I had been informed by my mate that I can use a Sky Eye type thing so I can put the box elsewhere and plug the other part of the Sky Eye into the TV and it will work.  I'm starting to think that might not be true as everywhere I've looked online says that the Sky Eye is only for additional TV's, not the primary one.  Can anyone shed any light on how I can do this?
