  1. Scroll over to column AE. You'll need to copy those columns and create a new one for each extra player

When I done that, when I select a team in the corresponding drop down box, it still allows me to select that team in future weeks, which doesn't happen on the first 3 rows, so I need to somehow replicate those from row 5 onwards. Frustrating.

  2. See if they really want to walk and celebrate, can they not just hire Glasgow Green or a big open space? I'm genuinely not trying to antagonise but I don't really see the point in bringing streets to a standstill. If they want to celebrate something that happened over 300 years ago in a different country, then wire in, but don't inconvenience people who don't want to take part. Unless that's part of the fun......?

  3. That's kind of the whole point, though. We should be comparing with the expected CFE standard - it's a CFE Higher.

There are just too many daft wee things in it that a C candidate will not pick up on. There's a derivative question that's dT/dt, too many folk will integrate it with respect to x, not t. There's a compound angle question involving tan2x, which is easy if you realise that tan2x = sin2x/cos2x, but loads of folk won't.

Here are some of the harder questions:

That's an insane question to give a 16-year old. Thing is - what's the first part even asking? Time taken to do what? Swim across? Eat the zebra? Start talking about upstreams and you've got folk thinking it's a vector question.

From having a look at the paper, this is supposed to be a Level C question, worth 4 marks. There's far too much work involved for a Level C question there.

    A discriminant question with a = 2, b = 2-p and c = p-2. Horrible.

Integral of dT/dt. I would wager at least half of the candidates will integrate with respect to x.

13 years on and the fear of looking at an exam paper and knowing I don't have a clue what I'm supposed to be doing comes flooding back.

  4. I put a post up condoning the glorification of St. Patrick's Day asking if anyone could tell me when St. Andrew's Day was. I got reported for racism! Luckily an 'investigation' from Facebook proved the post wasn't racist at all.

    Edited for spelling

    Do you mean condemning?

  5. I've got a single player career mode, was on loan to Bradford, went back to Celtic, won the league, then got transferred to Spurs. I didn't play a single game, then I requested a loan, QPR signed me, but again, didn't get a game. I've now signed for Schalke and its happening again. Is there any way of changing this? Or is it just a bug ?

  6. Some bint is complaining that someone wrote a note and put it under the wiper blade on her car not once, but twice because she parked over 2 spaces in a car park. Instead of berating her, her sycophant friends are hitting out with gems like "you should contact the police and have the person charged with touching private property". Or, just don't park like a fanny.

  7. Has anyone noticed a lot of trees getting cut down around the country lately? I've been doing quite a lot of driving for work and noticed it quite a lot up north and along the A83. They've chopped up a fair whack at the Raith Interchange as well, anyone have any insight ?!

  8. Had done some extra reading on a few and found one that was actually solved, although not sure if you would call it successful or not

    http://www.otherhand.org/home-page/search-and-rescue/the-hunt-for-the-death-valley-germans/introduction/

Note its quite lengthy, but solves the dissaperance of a German Family in 1996

another of my favourites is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YOGTZE-Fall

That was fantastic, really good read. Only thing was I totally missed where they found Egbert, probably read over it without taking it in.

  9. Serious question. How did they know the dogs smelt cadaverine and the scent of blood? Isn't it possibly all the dogs smelt was arseholes and baws?

Unless the dog had developed powers of speech, how would they know?

Really? Pretty sure they would have trained and tested them before throwing them into a police investigation.
