  1. Nadal was a break down in his first set today but I doubt anyone was telling him to get a grip. Things like that happen against top players all the time and tbh at no point in that match did I ever think Murray would lose.
  2. Agreed. This happens alot where a 'unknown' player goes a set or 2 up in a 5 set match. This will most definitely be the biggest stage Traver has played on so its akin to a small team getting to a cup final and playing well. Another thing that would be interesting would be to see how many 5 set matches Traver has played. I would bet not many and after a while fitness plays a big part.
  3. It is tough but over 5 sets I'd back Murray everytime. Only thing I worry about is he has a habit if throwing in a really poor game at the GS and all those players are capable of capatalising on that.
  4. Think it depends on what job your doing. I work in a Engineering plant in Aberdeen repairing compressors and fans for the rigs and 12 hours on the night shift can be a long long time. In an office though I can imagine it being an absolute canter.
  5. Currently reading Trainspotting. After thats done Im going to read the other 2 books that contain the same characters (I think), Porno and Glue. This is a new thing for me I havent read a book right threw since 5th year.
  6. Starting to think Ive made a rather large error earlier not allowing that bet to run Still think Wade can do it he should definitley stop leaving D20. I know its a brave thing to do keeping going for it almost in an act of defiance but it really isnt working.
  7. Got off Newton after 1st leg. Just hope Wade goes on to win now so my outright winner bet comes in.
  8. Backed Newton at 3.1. If it looks like a walkover for Wade I'll get off sharpish but I cant envisage that happening. Think it will go with throw till about 5-5 then Wade to start pulling away.
  9. Ah right cheers. That does seem a bit silly though. Fair enough if the employees were of an acceptable standard but if they are just going to get beat 4-0 whats the point.
  10. See in the earlier rounds why were they allowing the speedy hire employees to play in this? Am I missing something about the set up here.
  11. Stuck a bit on Newton at 5-2. Hope this break doesnt hurt him. Also got Wade to win the tournament outright.
  12. Has anyone ever had any problems with a 'winlogon.exe' error. It is not letting me connect to the internet or run any anti virus software, aswell as shutting the computer down on the odd occasion. Anyone had this before or know how to fix it?
  13. Well done Gary. Hopefully he can lose the jitters and a win like this in the first year in the PL will do him wonders. He seems like such a nice guy aswell, his after match interviews are like talking to a guy who has just jackpotted a puggy.
  14. Surely cant throw this away.
  15. Well done Gary right from the start in the final.
  16. Oh right. Didnt know that. Thanks.
  17. Is the Uk Open televised? Seem to think ITV 4 might have had it last year.
  18. I watched it. Thought Murray done okay first set, at times unbeleivable play in the second and by the third he looked like he just didnt have it in him. From 3 straight defeats to a semi final on clay I think he can regain alot of confidence lost.
  19. Blue, I was just re-reading your post about backing and laying all 46 english league games. Say you back all your teams at 3.3, and lay at 2.8. Are you not taking a bit of a risk if you get an unusually low percentage amount of your lays matched, coupled with bad luck in that your backed match bets dont come in. Im struggling to fully understand the concept and may be missing something obvious.
  20. Blue I dont want to sound like an arse licker here but you seem very knowledgable about this. Ive been backing and laying a few different markets at £2 bets and making decent profit considering. My question to you is do you beleive there is money to be made in backing and laying tennis matches when the game is in the balance n I dont know if it was just luck but I was backing Karlovich with a £2 stake and laying him £2.2 and I made about £13 profit. The obvious thing to think is if i had been doing that with £200 pound would I have made £1300 or was that a sort of one off
  21. The thing that has been putting me off the betfair software was that I just couldnt get used to the interface of it. I found it hard to use as the programme I downloaded was rather basic. Im sure there are programmes out there that have a better interface but I havent found them yet.
  22. Thats brilliant mate. Thanks. I looked at the software available but at the minute I am just sticking to televised football. Also when the snooker is televised I will start trying that out.
  23. This is probably a daft question to the more experienced traders, but Ive decided to give up gambling on William Hill website and the like and for the past few months have been experimenting with trading on Betfair. I have read almost every bit of information available about it on the internet and have been trialing a few different strategies with small stakes, and so far have been quite successful with it. There is one thing that is bugging me which I cant seem to master: If I back, say, Celtic at 2.5 with £100 before the game and during the game their Lay price falls to 1.9 and I lay that with £100 also, showing a profit on Celtic winning but breaking even on the draw and Celtics opponents. How am I able to equalise that profit across all three, Celtic, the team they are playing and the draw ? I know that you are supposed to calculate this using the profit shown below Celtic winning and dividing it by the current lay odds but I dont seem to getting it to show profit across all three markets ?
