  1. Dundonald vs. Queen's Park seems likely for the TV game. That said, Gala vs. Annan could be good if they allow fans in.
  2. You were entitled to play on, it was just cuntery. Justice done in the end
  3. Get it right up them for not putting the ball out when Tiffoney was down injured. Deserved win. Great performances from Robinson, Mullin and Bartley.
  4. Pittman should have put at least one of his two openings on target. We won't get many opportunities against a good team pressing high. Our defenders have to be careful taking too much time on the ball.
  5. McNulty looked unfit and Shankland looked like he was lacking confidence. His chance at the end was a pathetic attempt at troubling Stryjek.
  6. Don't really see this as a big problem. Presumably this would be the case with any club without a director of football? I'm more concerned about it not going well as it would leave a massive hole at the club.
  7. Big Al back in light training with a view to returning in 6 weeks time. Good news.
  8. Imagine it won't be exactly the same situation but we were fined £10k and deducted 5 points in 2014 following a self-declaration of non-payment of tax. That was admittedly from 2010/11 so the length of time may have been considered when handing out punishments.
  9. I wouldn't mind so much if the ball was out of play but you're bang on. Missing corners due to a replay of the previous corner. Stupid.
  10. Nope, my stream has been perfect aside from the terrible replays. Did you get this sorted? Maybe try another browser, I never seem to have these problems on Safari.
  11. Sibbald and Poplatnik have been excellent. Quality performances. Bold strategy from Ayr constantly leaving Mullin unmarked near the edge of the box.
  12. If Ayr could take Nicky Devlin back with them after the game, that would be appreciated.
  13. Bartley saying that Martindale has taken a back seat in coaching this season as opposed to last season where he was more hands on. Interesting comment.
  14. St. Mirren fans need to get over that clear red card from Shaughnessy and enjoy their Saturday evenings / Sunday mornings imvho.
  15. Agreed and our second best performance without Dykes was the St. Johnstone home game. Guess who started in both games up front.
  16. Fair play to us managing to find a way to get worse in the second half. Fully deserved that deflection. St. Mirren deservedly winning two games against us this season through simply working harder. That is really difficult to swallow. Agree with the calls on that tackle from Holt. Won the ball but clearly intended to hit the man and it resulted in a potential ankle breaker. Couldn't have complained if he got sent off.
  17. Why do you think Holt leaving would make any difference? Feels like this has Martindale's fingerprints on it. Really, really grim stuff today. St. Mirren just having to work hard to get three points for the second time this season. We fully deserved that deflection against us. My feelings on where we stand at the moment: Positives We have enough good players to get out of this. Negatives We have too many clowns in the team currently being picked. The quicker Bartley and Brown are out the team, the better. Particularly the former who has been absolutely fucking shite this season. We are seriously dodgy at the back. This is despite only one player leaving (Lamie, who wasn't even playing), compared to our defence from last season. This leads me to believe that the new players that have replaced last season's defence need dumped, where possible. I would line up with something like McMillan at right-back, Guthrie and Fitzwater or Ambrose in the middle and ATS at left-back. This formula worked. Why both McMillan and ATS have not had a sniff is beyond me. We look out of ideas going forward. For me, this lies with JET not working in our system. I'm not even sure we can adapt our system to suit him as he does not work hard enough. If he isn't scoring goals, it is not worth it. Tiffoney or Poplatnik have to come in next game. We are not working anywhere near hard enough. Last season we had players chasing down opponents and hunting in packs. Today, St. Mirren did that against us really well. I am not sure how to fix this. The Ayr game gives us a chance to experiment, even if we go out of the cup in doing so. It is essential we stumble across a team that looks closer to last season's, as soon as possible. Stryjek McMillan Fitzwater Guthrie ATS Sibbald Lawson Robinson Pittman Forrest Tiffoney
  18. We've been utter shite but have had the best openings in the game. We either need to significantly improve or start taking the chances. We will lose otherwise.
