  1. I would be holding on to as much cash as possible right now to make sure we get through the crisis. I hope that the support have stepped up and bought season tickets where their circumstances make it possible. Particularly given it seems likely that we will be back in stadiums in August.
  2. Wonderful stuff. All this stemmed from him dying his hair. ETA - Someone needs to make a GIF with his head on top of a K-Pop video with the hashtag #btsareshit. That will really set them off.
  3. I'm not sure I rate McCrorie yet but that's still a very good cash deal if we can get it. I find it highly unlikely though as all the chat seems to be that McCrorie is being trained up to replace McGregor.
  4. I have criticised Richard Gordon a lot in recent times but he made the two most relevant points of the discussion in succession. 1. TE: "Dundee get two votes" RG: "Under company law, if you vote no you have 28 days to reverse that vote" TE: "I'm not saying..." Derp. Imbecile. 2. TE: "Neil Doncaster said to Dave Cormack that 'we have the required votes from the Premiership so your vote doesn't count' RG: "Well that was true." TE: "Yeah but... is that...?" They mention fairness soon after. As has been previously said, English's reputation is in the gutter after his weekly hysterical rants on the programme. He deserves nothing but disdain from supporters going forward after his performance in this saga.
  5. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/i-dont-really-like-football-that-much-and-i-dont-miss-it-it-is-never-on-the-tv-in-our-house-never-gppmh9dvm You would think that after this arsehole publicly admitted that he doesn't like football that much, that the BBC would at least make sure he was willing to be diligent in his research and insightful when they put him on air. Sadly he very much falls into the stereotypical thick pundit role. There is really no excuse for keeping him on the payroll with his incredibly simplistic analysis.
  6. Correct. I don't mind this as I think it means we are going back in line with the removal of the full contact training restriction.
  7. Record has us and St. Mirren in for Alex Jakubiak but I'm not sure I believe it.
  8. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/scotland/53037472 Players back to training 29th June. Stadium has also been kitted out in preparation for the return. Impressed. On the kits, I tried to go on the company's website last week but the link failed. I wonder if we will start next season in our current kits?
  9. 'And what might James Anderson think of Scottish football putting self interest and vindictive insularity before the greater good' I can definitely see the manager for the UK's most well known investment trust pulling £3m from a charity within a week of pledging it.
  10. I opened up the reply window and realised I already had a suitable post from last week ready to go. "McCann needs to shut his mouth." 'Why can't they do a hybrid [temporary/permanent reconstruction]?' What does that even mean?
  11. I feel like Menga or Hamilton could step up into the Dykes role. Menga needs more composure, Hamilton needs more game time to see if he can make a sustained impact at Premiership level.
  12. Is this our best lineup as things stand? I think the only questions are at full-back. If we don't sign a new keeper, I would hope we give Schwake a run in friendlies. I think he was on loan at Linlithgow before the season stopped.
  13. That picture of MacGregor should be next Gregg Wallace face.
  14. Nice colours on the away kit but the smear around the sponsor is ugly.
  15. I thought this too. Happy to report that if we were, we appear to have dodged the bullet.
  16. Agree unfortunately. Liked him a lot as a player but I don't think we should be making any additions outwith a goalkeeper at this point. We have a squad of 26 players at this point which (even with the potential of 5 subs being allowed) is probably too big.
  17. It's hypothetical as the prize money breakdown would presumably have to be agreed but it may be to these teams' long-term benefit if they believe they have a greater chance of staying up. Hover around 12th collecting +£1m and Old Firm money for eternity rather than drop into the Championship abyss and suffer the massive income loss. I imagine the 'decreased' prize money could still represent a small increase from season 19/20 as well, given the new TV deal.
  18. Richard Gordon happy that Rangers B will not be called Rangers Colts as if that makes any difference. An utter simpleton.
  19. Presumably we weren't paying Lawless that much and he felt that he could play the field for a better deal after his run of form early in the season. Fair play to him if he gets a good pay day. Interesting that Lamie wasn't offered a new deal. Maybe it was clear that he had already agreed to go elsewhere? Hopefully Sarkic is incoming.
