  1. The grants available to EoS clubs from the Scottish Football Partnership was reduced from £10k to £2.5k. The EoS used to give ground improvement grants of upto £3k, but this has been reduced to £1k due to the substantial increase in membership.
  2. Tweedmouth aren't SFA full members, they need a Licence to become members therefore they do not receive the SFA annual payment. If they are claiming membership of the FA, that would need to be given up if they ever want to become SFA members.
  3. The LL intend to allow all clubs to join at the same level, tier 6, as they did in the EoS. That is a fair and constructive way to kick off the first season in a brand new league with members coming from different areas of the game. Not sure how that cannot be a constructive way to approach this.
  4. There is also a responsibility of those running the league to treat all applicants equally, and ensure those who are outwith the Junior game dont get punted to levels below others.
  5. All new applicants knew in advance that there would be a Conference structure once numbers exceeded what was viable for a single division. Nobody backed out.
  6. Pretty much. I don't particularly care if some bigger clubs don't move, it is their choice and nobody is forcing them. Two Conferences of 14/16 would be ideal in my opinion to kick things off.
  7. Because we have a precedent from last year we can refer to. You don't want to listen though so it's pointless, you're just here to stir it up a bit.
  8. See, it's responses like that why people think you come on here with an agenda. It is what it is clearly, stay Junior or move to WoSFL. Nobody is forced to do anything.
  9. The beauty of this of course is that clubs can stay in the Juniors if they aren't comfortable with a Conference system (or any other aspect of the WoSFL). They have a choice.
  10. Everyone did. Indeed at an EoS meeting 11 months ago, Petrie and Maxwell were told by every EoS delegate that nobody had an issue with the WRJFA entering the Pyramid on their own. It didn't happen. The WRJFA had the chance to back "option w", another open door, but completely blew it out the water. TJ reiterated at last PWG "all-in". At that point, the LL took a grip of the situation.
  11. A date hasn't been set but it is likely to be towards the end of May due to the Euros.
  12. I'll be surprised if this charade goes on much beyond the end of this week, I doubt the LL will go ahead with a formal application process without a clear indication that the SPFL and SFA are happy for them to do so.
  13. People involved with the WRJFA are pushing the line any club leaving needs to give 12 months notice (false), but it doesn't seem to concern them that they themselves are dumping the ERJFA and NRJFA without any mandate to do so.
  14. "The devil in the detail" [not yet detailed] but hey forget that, stick with the WRJFA and back their proposal "stick together" "134 years" etc. Just contradicted himself.
  15. Nobody said it was available, it was listed as a benefit of EoS membership. Like any "new start" it may not be available immediately, but it's a question worth asking on Thursday.
  16. Correct. Nobody should be signing anything tomorrow, clubs should go to both meetings and then take that information back to the clubs/members and weigh up who is most likely deliver pyramid entry next season. The LL don't need applications until 31st March so there is a 2.5 week window.
  17. It never harmed the bigger clubs in the east, why would it in the west?
  18. I'm going to guess he'll want more clubs to sign up to his "declaration", hence why he wants more than just normal delegates at the meeting. He wants it so he can wave it at the SFA, problem is the LL can wave 56 notes of interest back at him!
  19. I'm sure the email last week mentioned 9 top flight clubs, with a couple of mibbies, others undecided, and one definite no, which I think we can safely assume was Clydebank. He wisely didn't put any names in the email, but he has mentioned names at other times. The list is largely irrelevant (although there are clubs who allegedly are/were on the list who didn't sign up to it). The pertinent points he needs to answer is do the WRJFA have guaranteed entry to the LL play-off? if not, how does he intend to obtain this in the face of LL, EoS and SoS opposition? Do the SFA and SPFL support their plan? Will only the Premiership be part of the Pyramid and the rest remain Junior, ultimately remaining under SJFA administration, with associated fines etc? If so, are the clubs under Junior administration eligible for SFA licencing, U20 league etc, and if they are do you have any guarantees on that? Where would non-WRJFA west clubs who want access to the Pyramid join? The SJFA are operating under an "all-in" mandate, how and when did this change? Just some of the issues that clubs should be seeking answers to.
  20. A very different thing from having "SFA.....membership"
  21. Robert, you need to step away from the keyboard mate.
