  1. RE the football discussion - people that can't control a ball or pass it properly annoy me so much it's unreal. Get the basics right and go from there...whereas some people try and do tricks etc. when they can't do something a 10 year old can do? Madness. edit: I'd choose a pint of Magners or Strongbow over a pint of Tennents every day of the week. I don't dislike beer (an ice cold bottle of Stella or Bud is cracking) but I enjoy drinking cider much more than beer.
  2. She's brilliant. As is Charlotte Church to be fair but Gyllenhall wins hands down.
  3. Friday night in watching Graham Norton and cutting my nails. I swear since I've turned 17 (this time last month) I've become into a boring w**k. Got an absolute b*****d of a sore throat as well which is annoying the life out of me. Yeah and 17 has to be the worst age ever, especially when you have braces and no fake ID. Hate hearing about friends over 18 going out all the time, roll on 11 months time.
  4. I know. Failed plans and not being 18 is trying my patience greatly.
  5. That was the 'new' Savo - the one I remember, and the one he should probably be best known for, is SavoTheGreat who was probably the best wind-up merchant on this website. Had all the diddy Dundee fans in cahoots in most threads and was actually a very good poster. Then all this 'Savo for mod' shit happened and he was awful after that. You can probably tell that I'm extremely bored when I'm analysing a forum poster on a Friday night.
  6. Just bought tickets for Tinie Tempah next February...running a risk because it's in the middle of my prelims.
  7. Gotta admit that the last three pages have made for some excellent reading. Congratulations to all involved.
  8. Probably due to the fact that they are shy, and don't wish to be the centre of attention in a group, whereas the ones being the loudest and 'funniest' are usually the worst ones in the group. The quietest girls in a group are usually the most fun, imo. VikingTON has it pretty much spot on - from my experience girls always prefer confident and out-going guys, and will stay away from quieter boys. I remember when I was younger I never spoke to girls much and as a result never had many girlfriends in my early teens, but over the past two years (probably when I started fifth year, tbh) I became a lot more confident in myself - looks, intelligence etc. - and since then I've never had a problem talking to girls and having girlfriends. But then again, one of my ex-girlfriends is seeing a boy that's so quiet that he won't even come up to introduce himself to me and my group of my pals (complete oppositve as to what I'm like). Girls confuse the life out of me, but 'bad boys' are usually boys that have a bit of confidence. My question: is it bad that I really like Tinie Tempah's album?
  9. How witty of you. I was playing football down my local pitches which haven't got floodlights so we couldn't play after 7:30, which meant we could only play for an hour or so which is a waste of everyones time.
  10. Happened to me last night. Arranged to meet at 5 and the majority of people turned up at 6, when everyone fine well knew it gets dark circa 7. Pointless.
  11. Got my gran's funeral tomorrow - my second in 10 days. Nightmare, in the exact same place as the one last week (my first ever one, too) and there's only going to be 15 people max. there. Driving in a private car behind the hearse as well tomorrow, never been involved in anything like that before in my life. Fucking dreading it.
  12. According to my phone I've sent 436 texts since Friday. I can easily send over 150+ a day, but normally I send about 50-75 a day. Never used to be like this, but when I got my new contract in May (then upgraded it to get unlimited internet as well last week) I just started using my phone a lot more. Pretty sad.
  13. It was my birthday on Thursday and not one of my cyber chums gave me a shout out in this thread.
  14. Would an American iPod Touch (the new one) work over here if I got my aunt over there to buy me one? I'm pretty sure it would but I'd like a bit of confirmation before I buy it.
  15. That was him - he looked much older than 16, pretty fat and ginger hair. Really tragic, I hear there's a big tribute to him at the scene already with flowers etc. there.
  16. Nah, he was probably just hanging about the main street with his pals - I don't think he was at the game. I will admit he was a bit of a ned, however - hardly an angel, I just hope he wasn't getting chased and this was a result of it all. I doubt people driving from Hampden at that time would have been slow (road rage after the performance?) so that might have had something to do with it. Looks like I'll be going to my first ever funeral as well.
  17. I thought it was a joke when I heard it this morning - then after about 10 people telling me about it I then believed it. Still in complete shock, I'd imagine it will only sink in at his funeral. At a lost for words at the moment.
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-11229425 Knew him since I was 4 years old - was pretty much best pals with him in primary and had sleepovers etc. at his all the time. We drifted apart at high school but we spoke fairly regularly. Saw him last week and we spoke for a bit - and now he's dead. Can't imagine what his family's going through, his little sister's still at my school even though he's left and she was in floods of tears (have no idea why she went to school in the first place today). Still can't believe it's happened.
  19. It's all to do with dundeebarry's blog called 'The Real Leigh Griffiths' and patter used by manager-at-the-time Jocky Scott. Good read, although somewhat over-rated and over-quoted by many. 'teckle' is another one that gets on my tits. It's very well written and has made me crying in laughter, though.
  20. Value for money. I was busy yesterday but I'd normally have gone to the Cambuslang game yesterday because Clyde weren't playing, and the score was 3-4 with two red cards and two penalties. Would've cost me a £3 to watch it. The standard isn't great but I much prefer it to the SPL. Just my opinion though, not expecting everyone to agree with it.
  21. Get her to f**k! Obviously there's deeper lying issues with this one but that's just ridiculous. My personal PTTGOYN is waiting on a text back. Especially when it's fairly important.
  22. Yeah, I definitely need to at least talk to her about what is going on, as it seems that this has just fallen into place over the past few days. Big problemo is that my best friend REALLY likes her, yet I'm the that kinda likes her and is getting gammies off her. Shame for him, but thanks for reading this boring nonsense.
  23. Hmm, I see where you're coming from. But for instance, last night i had a few friends over and were drinking, and due to me only having ice cream and a chicken bake all day, I was gone, as was the female friend. So we were just talking all night, then once everyone had left one thing led to another etc etc. But today I was with her and my friends and it was like she was a totally different person? She blamed it on being hungover, I'm not too sure. I just don't want it ruining anything, but I think it has already. It's brilliant when it's just us two, just not when everyone else is there though.
  24. What is everyones' opinions on having a f**k buddy who is one of your friends?
  25. P4 PNK was regularly seen around Rutherglen/Bridgeton a few years ago in a bright pink mini/VW Beetle (can't remember which!) -always raised a chuckle.
