Anyway a Solo Shot for @dee_62
Thoughts and condolences…and points.
The musicians from this thematic team - #1 uk hits from 1970 - (excl Rolf H) have all been immortal since first picked in DP2017. It’s only the England World Cup squad from that year that are keeping me in the points!

Is "pull my thumb" still a classic or is it something that died out a few years ago?

For me, its the gushiness of the way some of the youngsters talk to each other.
"Oh my god, you are the best, that is soooooo super nice of you".
In my day, we just used to say "Cheers for that".
yours sincerely

Getting annoyed because it always seemed to be you getting told to get up and change the channel on the TV.
Not so much a saying but, if you were lucky enough to have 2 TVs in the house, the second was always a black and white portable with a circular internal aerial stuck in the back.

Getting told to look it up in the yellow pages if you wanted a business' phone number. Also eagerly awaiting the new phone book dropping through the letterbox to see if your family's name and address was still in it!
Given 10p and told to go and get a bag of sweets from the half penny tray at the local newsagent.

I thought I would be the only one picking Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel but just seen dee_62's picks.
Great minds etc....
Have had them together since 2018 - themed team of UK no1 hits from 1970. Guaranteed immortality with me picking them.
In the 5 years that my team has been together - I've only lost 4 and they were all footballers from England's 1970 World Cup Squad. Not one "proper" musician has pegged it!

While I picked him, I'm still saddened by this one. He really was a lovely man who would always speak to fans when he was out the back of Dens having a fag. I expect he will make the rest of the Scottish nationals.
