You try snd tell me what Bartley seen in Hutchinson to offer him a 2 year deal .

He puts the effort in but has nothing to offer .

It worries me giving Bartley another transfer window he will just bring in players to make up the numbers not really matter if they are any good .

Not disagreeing with your view on Bartleys signing of Hutchinson. Obviously was done by watching videos of him play & he prob wouldn't move up here on a one year deal. But give the lad a bit of slack, no need for the abuse he received today from some of the home support.

  2. Efe and Lee were QoS best today, Midfield non existent today, unfortunately young McIntyre at LB had a poor game, He has played well previous games av watched him.. Hutchinson up top got no service whatsoever or much support, certainly don't agree with all the cheering when he was subbed off., or the rage by some when Docherty came on for Mckecknie..

Really hope some of the lads up in the mainstand are fit very soon the team defenitly needs them.

Hopefully Bartley manages to get a couple of decent signing midfield and striker in place very soon.. Canny believe we still have a chance of the play offs considering how bad we have been....

That was 2  very poor teams neither deserved to win .

That was as poor as i have seen Alloa against us a half decent Queens team would have got us the win but sadly we are miles away from that .

Plenty of effort but you just need that bit of quality  that sadly we don't have .

Hutchinson is a good example trys hard but he is miles away from the quality  we need.

What Marv sees in him I have no idea.

He doesn't have much choice upfront needs a striker in before next  Saturday...

Fans of other clubs will have a right chuckle, but given the state of our back line at the moment that's actually a big relief ...

Where was it announced? ... Don't see it on the OS ...

Mom. Performance against Annan last week. Experience on and off the park key with a young squad.

Hopefully we get to see the ex Nigerian international do another somersault before the end of the season..

Can't say I'd take any of that squad to Queens but I'm sure a few Queens players would walk into the Annan team. Actually wouldn't be surprised if Todd eventually ends up there given he lives fairly locally, he's not quite dropped to that level yet though.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up there very soon....

    Note

Harsh on recruitment.  Of the 16 players he has signed 9 are ok and 7 haven’t cut it yet: Houston, McGuffie, Hutchison, Raggett, Logan, Doherty and Walker haven’t delivered. It’s worth givng MB January to get an experienced CB, midfield assassin and another forward. Just my view

Think mcguffie has started to prove himself the last few performances. Some goal today.

Haven't seen us since the Dundee United game (including today) due to a combination of illness, bereavement and just not wanting to go through the pain of watching this mob , but if we're now at the stage that Josh Todd is playing centre-back every criticism of Bartley's recruitment and training methods seems justified.  How on earth can that situation arise with a squad of close on 30 players?

With Brydon's injury record, McClelland's lack of discipline and ability to make a hash of the basics of defending, keeping Ambrose has become a no-brainer despite the number of errors he's been racking up recently.

We desperately need another CB in January, but what's worrying is the chances are, going by Bartley's recruitment record, if he signs someone it'll be a 17 year old from Hibs.

Unfortunately we had CB's Brydon, & McKay injured as well as Mclelland suspended today.

Ambrose not so sure he has had that many errors recently & showed his experience to deservedly get mom today.

Good Jan transfer window is needed. Hard to believe we are still in touching distance of the playoffs at the top.

That’s us 2 points off a playoff spot. A chance to strengthen in the Jan window. It may have been a poor performance by all accounts but we are starting to win ugly. Let’s enjoy tonight and hope we can grind out a run.

Win ugly is good we would t have done that earlier on in the season.  A number of payers missing Mclelland, McKay, Brydon, Cochrane, and then Connelly and Gibson who have both done well lately just getting 20 mins each.

    Agreed.

Looks like we have turned a corner in last few weeks with wins and scored a few cracking goals - Gibson and Connelly to the fore - and then he benches both for a Home game to 2nd bottom team who are leaking goals.

    Makes no sense whatsoever.

Heard Lee was ill during the week & turned up late today, Gibson a strange one maybe just due to his dad playing for the otherside..

Good 3 points makeshift defence today. Ambrose was excellent today, wonder if he will get signed until end of the season.

  10. Think next weeks game against Edin City will prove how lucky Queens are to have an astute businessman in charge of the finances. Edin will turn up with a team full of there u20's squad. The Edinburgh players have not been paid wages for the last two months... Tough time for them lads...

Anyway great win yesterday hopefully the team can continue on from that and win the last 3 games of the year & revive the play off push...

Get the squad down training at Palmerston more often too. It's the least the players can do.
