The better, stronger side won today, Can see why each team is where it is in the league despite to be fair not much in the game.. Cochrane was QoS stand out for be me he wanted the ball and moved it well. Left hand side of defence is poor. Paton needed more support up top though. Lots of cross balls into the box but ever worked Mehmet enough...
Marvin Bartley has his work cut out but I think he will work hard and improve the squad for next season for sure...

I see Reilly wasn't even involved with the reserves yesterday and only got an hour with what was basically a youth team at Nithsdale on Saturday. It's unusual for a club the size of ours to see a player go from being an automatic starter to being frozen out completely in such a short timeframe, new manager or not. Despite him having another 15 months or so to run on his contract I can't see him ever being near the first team again. Surely he would want to take whatever opportunity comes his way and get the hell out of Dodge?

No..... The last couple of weeks when asked Bartley says he's training - but he doesn't seem involved on match day, wonder if he is amongst the 5 Bartley wants moved on

Lots of positives from that. Lots of energy about time and liked the pressing game. Fitness isn't quite there yet with it but a work in progress. We tired towards end.
Muir looked sound defensively although not too tidy in possession. But did well.
Really impressed with Irving. Pacey and direct. Also liked to shoot, we seemed keen to largely try and walk ball in net.
Ruth disappointing. Add him to list with the likes of Reilly and co, I'd imagine.
We need another striker before the window closes.....

Expect Gavin, Rico & Ciaran all to be out on loan before end of Feb.. Most likely the end of fulltime football for all three.

Think maybe its Ruth's age over Reillys that is the major difference Marvin maybe thinks he can do something to improve the 21 year old. Both been poor this season.
