M74 Roads are clear now, and roads into Dumfries from Moffat have no standing water. Usual floods down the 'sands' in Dumfries but won't affect the game going ahead.

I'd be surprised. Hardly a step up just now, but who knows.
If you're short in any defensive areas, he'll save you a bit of cash by repurposing one of your better attacking players, so that's handy if your budget's strained.
We have already done that with Euan East...

I'd imagine thats more a wish list than confirmed attendees. I'd be surprised if the likes of Jamie MacDonsld, Ky Jacobs, Michael Doyle, Andy Stirling and certainly Lyndon Dykes were involved to anything more than nominal extent in a game on April 30th. They are all still active players.
Only posted what was said on radio, Dobbie's confirmed names, obviously players that are contracted to clubs prob won't play but will be ther same as Dobbie & Harris did at big JT's testimonial.

From how he described him I'm guessing it may be Danny Rogers.

I fee like a broken record but how many times have we conceded within a couple of minutes after making a substitution?
And how many central defenders can we afford to sign in January considering how many we already have?
That's the problem we don't have any!! Need to Sign 2 minimum & a Goalie

If the talk of Ruirah Paton heading to yous is true I wonder if a loan stint at Palmerston for Chris Kane might help both and get his match fitness levels up....

Wouldn’t begrudge him a move, but think Ruari is a bit of that standard. Similar to lyndon move where he goes in January but loaned back maybe beneficial for all parties. It’s fair to say he’s done well with his 13 or so goals but easily should have 20?! He also would go there to warm the bench, as Clark and May were flying before the break
My thoughts on Ruirah too, Still a lot to learn and another 5/6 months playing in league 1 so him no harm before he moves on fully. QOS benifit by selling him cheap in Jan then can Inc add ons if any potential sales. Win win for him and Queens.

I'm hoping we get a keeper in who will at least be challenging Currie for a starting position and not just warming the bench. A left winger would be handy too, as would a right back, but I'd be surprised if we brought in more than one or two new faces. Bange will be away, but I'd be surprised if any others leave unless McKechnie, Johnstone, Muir, Burns etc are farmed out on loan.
Muirs already away loan.

Who is charge if recruitment is it whoever WG wants or is there a scouting team that works for us. It was reported we were in for Muirhead and Broadfoot and it he must have seen that was the type of character we needed unfortunately the defenders we signed don't have that personality and character and I think that is a major problem.
He was in for then both but Money talks I'm afraid..

Not sure what odds that makes. Especially when ALL of Callum Semple's best performances for us were when he was on loan to us from Sheffield United. He wasn't anywhere near as good when he returned from Ross County on a properly contracted basis.
Maybe not as good, but still far better than any CB's we have at the moment certainly player with passion and wanted to win...

Tbf, Semple didn't do himself any favours before he was let go.
? ? The young man was trying to deal with a number of personal issues at the time, and was still head and shoulders what we have now....

Not had a solid ball winning CB with passion for the club since young Semple, What a shame he was let go... The CB's are so soft now no aggression whatsoever.

We'll need to tighten up dramatically in defence to give us the slightest chance of winning any games, the ease at which we lost the goals to Airdrie was ridiculous.
The same as its been for a number of years cany defend cross balls.... Fordyce attacked the ball that's the type of CB defender we miss... Too soft. Shame scoring 3 goals wasnt good enough for the 3 points...
