The first match against the Fifers today, in the under 20 league. Why at Stirling Uni?

We drew 1-1 with Hamilton last night as part of the first fixture in the Under 20 League. Anybody there?

Interesting to see assists with Higginbotham and Duffie for Farid. I remember Tony Smith of FFCTV saying that Farid said Duffie provided Farid with 70% of his goals, which looks completely inaccurate now. With Higginbotham off in January and Duffie not having his greatest second half of the season, perhaps the lack of service for Farid, who continued to score but not at the blistering rate at the start of the season. Duffie looks back on form again pre-season and will be interesting to see where the main assists in the team will come from. I reckon like Pressley the goals will be more spread out this year, but with Taylor scoring the majority of them.

Can I ask why it affects you in particular, so much? I can understand how this could have been handled better, definitely, but I honestly don't understand why people are getting themselves so upset about something we do not even know. Notice how you said disappointed at the handling of this, as opposed to the statement. I have stated I am not the boards greatest fan, but I don't go to watch the board. It's like when I order a pizza, I don't complain about the board of directors at Dominos. If it were a shit pizza, i.e a shit team, then I would be complaining. But not when its something that even if we did vote yes, the outcome is still the same, cannot be changed. What promises did they make? One wasn't to reveal their answer during a secret ballot out of respect with other chairman of the SFL, something that various other clubs have done. They have subtle hints that leave the ignorant undecided, and the more intelligent clued on. Lets just forget all this rubbish, there is a game on tomorrow folks.

Why else do you connect your self with the club? Is it the stadium architecture you enjoy? Perhaps you love the way they maintain the grass at the ground? Naw, you go to watch the team, and whether you like it or not mudmonkey they are a very young group. People who go to watch the team play but complain about the board have no right, the best way to get back at the board for their "shameful" actions is not to go.

Then you have absolutely no right to complain, you've just admitted it yourself! If I was buying a product and I didn't like the service I was getting with that product, would I stop? No, the service does not directly affect me, and I enjoy my product. Although I'm not the current boards biggest fan, the decision has now been made that Sevco are in the 3rd, regardless of our vote. It really doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things now, although had it been the casting vote that allowed them in the 1st, granted I would be unhappy. I just feel fans are getting frustrated at nothing they can do, there is nothing that can change this, and even if it is, what benefit to the club overall? We have a team of great young players who deserve our backing, and regardless who's in the boadroom I'd always back my club to the hill. Some of our supporters can't wait to knock it down, that is not directed at you Ned.

Its just natural mate, happens to all the clubs coming down from the SPL. I believe the maximum clause in any relegation wage decrease is 50%, even then with players on decent SPL wages, with TV money, they will be getting less than half the income they had last year, provided you have released some players. The signings of the players from the lower leagues show that perhaps this time your club are trying to live within its means.

Promises between fellow chairman of the SFL. I'll not need to quote your other statement as I'd hope you'd feel suitably embarrassed.

Dunfermline are more skint than others, the first season away from the SPL will show you that, especially with the players who are still at the club who will be on fairly decent chunked wages. Will be interesting to see the financial records for next year after that, if it wasn't for us essentially playing a lot of under 19 players and finding a gem of a striker we could have gone done the shitter. But after 2 big money transfers last year, with many promising players coming through our academy still, can only look positive for the future. The less said about your clubs future for the moment, the better. Falkirk haven't bent over for them either so I don't see why we have been abysmally treated? As I said in another post, the board have maintained a secret that all of 30 SFL clubs should have when they voted. If anything they gave us subtle hints as to what way we've voted, telling the fans, whilst maintaining the trust from other clubs. Maintaining this trust with the SFL and its clubs chairman can go a long way into entering negotiations to form reconstruction for the leagues, something Falkirk have always wanted regardless of Sevco.

I think its you who is finding it difficult to keep up and understand the adult conversation: 1) To remain part of the secret ballot voting system along with other 29 clubs who were included in the SFL vote, something that very few SFL clubs have broken. 2) And then the opposite, they broke the promise to keep the vote a secret. Pointing out a dyslexics spelling/grammar mistakes might make you feel better about the whole thing though .

And your point caller? We've been treated abysmally because the board kept a promise, unlike yours? There is obvious hints from the statement what way we voted and this has been done whilst maintaining out secrecy in the ballot. Only big clubs would think of this you see.

Take what? There is no confirmation what way we voted, and from the statement it shows that we felt it was unfair if Rangers were put in the first, in this or any other case no team should have special treatment. But good deflection from your own rosy situation at your club, sadly you will reel people in with this.

The thing I don't understand is why people are concerned now. In what way will it affect you? Does your support for the club change on the basis of this vote? I'm just curious, don't think I could change my support for the team regardless of upstairs nonsense, the club is much bigger.
