If your as old as me, you would remember Dumbarton as a Premier League team. As for who we keep, it will be down to whether we are f/t or p/t with regard to p/t, the issue is geography, we lost west cost based players to Dumbarton because of this. So might be time to look closer to home for players and help reduce our expenditure on travelling expenses.

As far as I am concerned we should move to fully part time squad next season, so bye to (at least) Graham, Mensing, Thomson, Walker, Hamill, Clarke, Spence. Dumbarton have shown they can beat everyone in this league with a part time squad, so good part timers are out there, its just a matter of finding and enticing them to the Rovers. I would also like to see us (for financial reasons) operating with Fife, Lothians, Tayside & centrally based players. I see no need to pay travelling expenses for players based 50+ miles from Kirkcaldy.

If we do part with Murray, can we please not get a 4-5-1, big boy upfront to chase down the channels, Largs clone ? Oh and a centre half with a bit of physicality would be great too.

Rather than an Old Firm Colt team, what about limiting the number of under 19's that these clubs can scoop up. Thus allowing the small pool of talent to be better spread, and actually get these players 'real' game time.
