  1. Aye, he has been sounding like that for years now. He knows what he's doing. If he comes out in favour, then nobody is going to be intrigued about his opinion. Fence sitting keeps him relevant at election times.
  2. Let's go over to Henry McLeish. "So Henry, how many dozens of splinters are in your arse these days after years of sitting on the fence?"
  3. Bonnie Prince Bob. Great video. Terrible numbers.
  4. That will be the #bothvotesSNP strategy playing out. 16730 votes straight in the bin.
  5. Dross coming apart like a scarecrow in a car wash under a grilling from Ponsonby. Tremendous.
  6. Willie Rennie giving it large about how Sturgeon needs to listen to him. He's an irrelevant wee shite to everyone in Scotland apart from farmers in NE Fife.
  7. I remember an auld, pre referendum west coast, Labour MP standing up in the UK parliament and asking how could Scotland possibly be protected from Russian submarines? According to him, they were at that very moment patrolling the Clyde, and without the protection of the UK nuclear deterrent this could happen in an independent Scotland? He really never thought that one through.
  8. The auld fellas stuck the WW2 boxset on again...
  9. It is the denial of reality that is so frustrating. This "Nicola will see it through" attitude is based on blind faith and nothing else. The SNP leadership has painted itself into a corner regarding the rules they have set themselves for another referendum. We now have those that unquestioningly follow every Sturgeon pronouncement parroting Theresa May's "Now is not the time" patter from a few years ago...you know that time when the SNP said they would hold a referendum to stop us getting dragged out of the EU.
  10. Can't remember that one but wouldn't surprise me. I do remember him rattling on that Scottish players would no longer be able to play for the British and Irish Lions. I mean FFS. He came across as a fairly unhinged perma raging walloper.
  11. Vote for me? Steady on Nicola, we vote for the candidates standing in our constituencies.
  12. Gavin and a load of other rugby players from the 80's and 90's turned up for a photoshoot for the No campaign. Given they were mostly former public schoolboys / farmers from the borders, it was not much of a shock to see where their loyalties lay.
  13. Indeed. It is some political masterstroke to be the party that sold out the fishermen when originally signing up to the CFP, to then be the party that blames the CFP / EU for all its troubles that have happened since, to then go on and be the party that fucks them over with a shit Brexit deal. And still a good percentage of these coastal communities will give it the - Tories are b*****ds, but you've got to stand back and admire the brass neck that allows them to convince simpletons they have their best interests at heart.
  14. On a rugby theme (although he does live in Edinburgh), Scott Hastings giving it his "Do not question my patriotism....I have bled for my country" patter in a pre-referendum debate when arguing for his No vote, was hilarious. You got cuts, bruises and bumps playing eggball pal, hardly charging the fields at Bannockburn. Tit of a man.
  15. From what I have heard it is a women’s rights protest. https://www.scotsman.com/news/opinion/columnists/scottish-election-2021-womens-voices-are-being-heard-in-party-manifestos-gina-davidson-3219277
  16. We can talk about the absolute roasters that have tried to compare it to a memorial in Budapest to Jewish people that were killed in the holocaust. I mean shoes have never been used in a protest before. https://www.avpress.com/news/red-shoes-used-to-protest-killings-of-women/article_cf64fd96-34f8-11ea-9514-e30b4d4b2e5a.html https://mashable.com/2015/11/30/shoes-protests-paris-climate-pope-francis/ https://www.euronews.com/living/2020/05/19/thousands-of-kids-shoes-appear-in-london-square-as-a-form-of-protest The mud slinging is reaching the levels of right wing Labour types that smeared Corbyn.
  17. He probably took a shite in her cats litter tray.
  18. You looked at that photo and thought that was the weirdest thing about it?
  19. I'll add - ^^seething mess Just while we are all taking a walk down memory lane.
  20. But it is. You zone in on twitter accounts that promote ALBA and then have a go at the SNP or Sturgeon. That is not proof. That is you going looking for what confirms your raging bias. What about the majority of ALBA supporters that are promoting an SNP1 ALBA2 message? This bollocks that you stir up is really no better behaviour than unionists that constantly whined about "abusive cybernats", while their own side were even worse and got a free pass.
  21. A reply to my post about you continually posting random bollocks from twitter. Some comeback there, you again posting some random bollocks from twitter. kudos. Didny see that coming.
  22. Leaflet from Labour earlier Had the usual 'activists pretending to punters' giving their views on why they are voting. One of them was that the SNP are good at creating jobs outside of Scotland. Look on the back of leaflet? Printed in Northamptonshire. Idiots!
  23. Careful now. Keep this up and there will be a post from Twitter by some random nutjob to back up all of Baxters viewpoints...
  24. I think the analogy of treating a political party like a fitba team holds up pretty well. Recent posts along the lines of - "I've delivered 1000 leaflets with a 'both votes SNP' message, that deep down, I know to be shite." "If I was just a punter, I'd vote Greens on the list, but I'm a member" God forbid you actually think for yourselves lads.
