Tactical voting is a mugs game but this is an interesting thread that would suggest it's more likely Alba will be a drag on indy seats in Holyrood unless we expect them to get more than 5-10%

Could the Dons finally play a non league side again?
Probably not:
On Wednesday St Johnstone face Kelty Hearts in the Betfred.
This means that all the other 41 SPFL clubs will have faced a non-League opponent in the domestic Cups within the last five years.
For the Dons, the last time we faced a non-league side was Elgin City in 1971! https://t.co/0nt6ZDwNsI0 -
Presume this is a joke. Why would they go beyond Ibrox and Parkhead?D v SJ and Kessock Bridge derby for the telly?
Looking forward to seeing who Falkirk get in the last 16.0 -
You know there is an Away Team option?Don't know who the Accies co-commentator is but he doesn't make an awful lot of sense
So dominant, only disappointment is not to be further ahead0 -
Best side we've played since the opening day defeat. Need to start scoring a few more and should really have been two and easy but given the farce of the first few weeks can't complain really. McCrorie looks better and better each week. Wonder how many years we'll get out of him before a big move.
That's us four clear in fourth with two games in hand. Aberdeen, Hibs, Celtic and rangers all winning, going to hear that alot this season2 -
Just logged on to see if this was just me. Only been watching the last 1/4 but crowd noise definitely seems a fraction ahead of the game. How did they manage that?Another moan about the crowd noise being out of sync. Really annoying.
If Edwards isn't injured, he probably manages to block that.0 -
14 days. Current UK guidance is if you have been in contact (various definitions but imagine most the team will fall into at least one category) with a positive case you need to self isolate for 14 days or until such a time that you develop symptoms where you reset the clock for a further 10 days self isolationAye.
Could be 3-5 day it seems before you can test positive, and you're contagious before that.0 -

Ah so if uefa leave it up to us this vote is for all divisions but if uefa demand we finish the league only the premiership will play to a finish. It was for all the divisions.
The Premiership would just be given extra time to finish due to UEFA demanding it.
Sorry not really been paying attention at all till today0 -
So this vote is only about lower leagues but the premiership get to vote.
When it comes to the premiership do all 42 clubs get to vote on what happens?0 -
What a flat, uninspiring version of dignity.
Otherwise solid show1 -
Did you record it before or after Wednesday's matches?

Not sure how reliable these models are but Cutbot's model from a few years ago predicts:I'm not sure, LibDem list vote is quite high compared to 2011, and SNP list vote is a good bit lower. Someone can do the complicated maths I suppose.
SNP 66
TORY 24
LABOUR 23
GREEN 9
LIB DEM 7

[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]If this is what 12th placed hearts do, just imagine what 4th place high flying Aberdeen will do to them next weekend.0 -
Aye same here. Was a good few minutes till had a slightest idea who had scored a penalty against who. Absolutely uselessFirst time listening to open all mics for a while - annoyances are Kenny MacIntyre saying home team and away team instead of the clubs names when Livi got a penalty, and whoever is at Tynecastle has their mic giving too much background/PA noise meaning you can hardly hear other people.0 -
Why the hell was David Gray doing the challenge cup draw?
Brilliant first show back, and now I know what the hell expected goals is.2 -

Times Scotland claiming to have an "interesting" Scotland only poll that is not just bad for the Tories

Bizarre to see him on the bench on Sunday.

25 minutes ago, TheScarf said:
Netting on the away section to stop Rangers and Celtic fans entering the pitch would be a step in the right direction. Also reducing their allocation, which should entice more Killie fans to come back.
Aberdeen have reduced the away section further after their behaviour last year so there is now a bigger gap between them and the fence separating fans. Hits us in the pocket but hopefully reduces the chance of a seat flying over and smacking one of our fans in the head.

51% want another poll now ( well very soon anyway)I support independence and think we are ready. My comment was about the country as a whole and by ready, in context meant, "willing/desiring to take the step".
People can point to 51% wanting another poll. A majority, yes. That is a disappointing result to be even asked the question. Never mind actually voting in favour. This is during the biggest British crisis in decades. And a majority still clings to it in non-binding polling. That's not the signs of a new state.
My original comment was about what constitutional framework might get '97 level of support from cross party. I understand it's pie in the sky at the moment, i was just throwing it out there.
Brexit has shown small majorities are possibly not the best for building new constitutions.
What were the other options? Usually something like next 5 years, next ten years, or never. I imagine those in favour of a vote at some point are well above 60% and won't to be too worried if it is early, indeed many folk not wanting a vote now may be Yes voters lacking the confidence in being able to win a second referendum so soon after 20140
