1. Totally agree. Well over-rated flick. There was a thread here a while back about it, and think pretty much everyone bar Mungo and I, loved it.
2. Crazy Heart (2009) - Jeff Bridges plays a faded Country Singer, who's boozing and playing Gigs around America to make ends meet. He meets a Girl, falls in love and the story swings around his drinking, the long-distance relationship and going back home to Texas. Really enjoyable film and very similar to 'the Wrestler' from last year. Interesting to hear Bridges sing too, which he does quite a bit in the soundtrack and the film. Hope he gets the Oscar for this. 8/10 Up in the Air (2009) - Clooney plays a Unemployment Counsellor who flies around the US firing people for Companies, enjoys the highlife, brief encouters with Women and forgetting his lonely-single and broken down relationship with his sisters in Omaha. A motivational speaker on the side and doesn't believe in Love or Marriage.A new graduate joins the Company and comes up with a money saving idea of how to cut costs and air miles, expenses. The ending was quite good and original. The film as well, nothing spectacular, but a decent flick and has something for the lost guy, or the girlfriend wanting a chic-flic(ish). 7/10
3. I played Squash on Friday Night, and played this morning early. Said that I'd go for a Shower last night, but fell asleep, woke up late and stuck on the same clothes that are ridden with Sweat for my morning sesh and then a run afterwards. After a piss poor lazy day, I'm still in the same clothes and might be playing more sports tomorrow.
4.

Totally agree. I've seen a few episodes and found it the same. I seen that 'Barney' seems to be some sort of cult-character thesedays. The Guys in that show all look deeply unlikeable and smug bell-ends.

9. In The Loop (2009) Got this gem for Christmas. Just fantastic. Capaldi, no doubt will be typcast as Tucker, but truly fantastic and very funny. Some of the put downs and liners from him are excellent. A lot of LAUGH OUT LOUD moments, and already excited to watch it again in the next few days. 9/10
10. Gordon Smith & Nato Head Honcho Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
11. If You're Feeling Sinister - Belle and Seb. Fantastic Album.
12. Yeah, I had that a while back as well when I needed 4 fillings after rubbering the Dentist for 4 years.saying that, her gigantic tits rubbing in my puss everytime I needed an extra top up was probably just about worth it. I met a Guy right after it who I hadn't seen in ages, and he asked me If I'd had a liquid lunch because my speech was so slurred from the mutlijags. Yeah, Not once in 3 years did my relatives come to visit. They were planning to come for the '3 night all inclusive' thing, but I moved back before they could double click the mouse. No Brother either. Had a few pals over, and a couple of them came over twice.
13. The Descent 2? I think it was called that. What a lot o' shite! Very boring, and cliched. The only half thing that saved it was the Bumpling Old Police Chief who was hilarious and looked surprised the whole way through it. Ending was very odd, and just crap. 1/10
14. f**k ! Modest Mouse are playing in Glaschu on Thurs and forgot all about it! Tickets sold out....
15. Not what you requested, but I watched this on the i player earlier. Quite decent look into depression and effects on sports stars. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00p6...ssion_in_Sport/
16. No, it's the sign of a Good Barman/lady. They remember you and the drink that you probably want.

Gigs

18. Shaving! Take the effort, all 10mins of it, to shave the fungus around the face, then a day later -it is back.
19. Small Engine Repair (2006) - 7/10 Seen this last night on BBC. I don't know if it was good because I had no idea what it was going to be about and gave it 15minutes, but I really enjoyed it. The ending was great, and the characters were casted great. About a construction worker who lives in a wee town in Ireland who wants to be a musician. The music is pretty decent as well. Reminds me of that Will Oldham film that was out a while back, can't mind the name.
20. Small Engine Repair - 2006 7/10. On BBC last night, pleasantly surprised . Set in Ireland about a forkcliff driver worker living in a caravan working on a site who dreams of being a musician.
21. I remember a few months ago watching the news with my Girlfriend and the female newsreader said something like "80 people have been killed by a Car Bomb in Baghdad". The Girlrfiend preps up with "Oh My God!" I was half expecting a "That's terrible", but she went on with "What the hell is she wearing?"
22. Started running reguarly again in the Summer again, and would agree with the guys on here that Interval Running is great for building up fitness and especially for Football. If you are looking to lose weight, any type of running will be good for you. What I started off doing was, run for 2 songs, stop for half of the 3rd track, and slow jog for the rest of the track, before running again for 2 tracks. I took it up originally to keep my weight loss off, if you eat a good balanced diet, You can still have the odd treat and things, and do a bit of fitness, you should stay the same weight.
