  1. Do we keep James Fowler for next season ?Do we take take the chance that he will get Queens into the top 4 next season ?Or get rid and see if we can get someone with more experience. For me I don,t no if I could watch a boring Fowler team next season maybe time for a change.

If next season say first 6/7 games continue at this rate and the product on offer continues to be absolute eye rape ,then he will be away. But he will get the chance to sort it in the summer I would expect.
  2. Of course it's not over If we get beat but it makes it highly unlikely we will get the 4th spot If we do. We have the game In hand but this is where we need to make it count taking our first win of the campaign against the team directly above us. After the next three we will know where we will probably end up. Anything less than 4-6 points for me and I think it will be extremely difficult to get the play offs. Just my opinion though .

  3. Raith winning today means we've got a really big week ahead of us, starting on Tuesday.

We're successively away to the three sides, battling with us for fourth (although St Mirren's battle now looks lost).

What do you think we need?

Personally, I think we must take something at Raith and must definitely win at least one of the three, possibly two.

We need to still be very much in touch by the time Raith come here in April.

I never feel confident about us in away games, but something good must happen on that front in the next week or so. How many points do people think we'll take/need from these three games?

First and foremost make sure we dont lose in kircaldy. I really think it will be a tight game probably a draw. After that we need to be taking at least 4 ftom morton and St mirren. Anything less and I think it's game over.

  5. Having seen all the teams in this division several times this season I think Queens are definitely the best team technically for the fourth spot. You are not as good as last season but have a good midfield that can pass the ball well. You are weaker in the attacking area and feeding the attackers. I don't think your keeper was at fault for any of the goals.

Our midfield is pretty brutal no idea where you get that from. Lots of pointless sideways passing rather than feeding the strikers.
  6. I think fowler will absolutely be here next season .He will get another crack at building a team capable of challenging for the play offs and i think thats when he will get judged by the board. We have lost a few very decent players which has been stated numerous times. It was always going to be a difficult season. But the fact is the football has been eye bleedingly poor. Is it too much to ask to have more than 2 shots in a game? At no point yesterday did I think we would win even going one nil up I thought we would succumb to defeat and we did. There is no urgency in the team everything is so slow and dull . I was hoping the two cup performances v Livi and morton were going to be one offs but sadly they were the standard that we have become used to this season. Hibs on Tuesday there confidence will have taken a dent after back to back defeats we should be going out and testing them, but sadly I think fowler will try to get a point from it at best. Striking wise we rely on beany and lyle way too much, just dont know where the goals will come from if they dont play.Pretty depressing stuff.

  7. There's this general tendency each season for fans to moan about the standard in this division and say that it's well down on previous years. I usually think it's overstated and that the standard actually tends not to alter that much beyond minor fluctuations.

This season though, it really is grim when you get below third. I think we're really pretty poor, but obviously we're very much in the play-off hunt.

It's really not a very enjoyable season at all.

Nail on the head. Going on Saturday not expecting a win here's hoping I am wrong.
