  1. Do you think that would be allowed to happen? Cast your mind back to the referees 'randomly selected' for Rangers games as they bravely fought their way through the leagues. They'd be protected.
  2. Anybody else fill in the survey from Supporters Direct Scotland? Survey results are no surprise. OF in favour, rest not.
  3. Ryan Hedges. Marley Watkins. And Lewis Ferguson before his form took a nosedive.
  4. Good save from the keeper. 2 good chance not scored though.
  5. I'm worried but I'm in eternal pessimist mood just now. If we score early we could gain confidence and really go to town but I've got a bad feeling we will huff and puff our way and miss open goals. Draw 0-0 then win with an OG in extra time. Waahay! Edit: We're 1/7 on bet365. Not tempted.
  6. Same middle name as well. I'm assuming it is the guy.
  7. Alba polling lower than the LibDems. Oh dear. Early days obviously.
  8. Is there any chance of the Scottish Libertarians taking votes off the Tories? It's a strange phenomenon that parties with the words Libertarian and/or Freedom sound appealing until you actually look into them. What could anyone have against Liberty and Freedom?
  9. A lot to choose from on the list. Geoffrey Farquharson is unknown to me so far unless it's this guy. Man given suspended sentence for death threat to MP | UK news | The Guardian
  10. When it's your 4th game in a week on top of the players' full time jobs. I'd say so , yes but I possibly have a higher regard for the Highland league than you do. Of course the fact they'd hardly played is also a factor.
  11. We should be confident of beating a part time team with that kind of fixture pile up before the game. So why am I not confident? It would be an embarrassment bigger than the Hearts Brora if we don't win this game comfortably. Oh oh.
  12. Mhairi Black taking a queen...……..into a primary school. I'm sure I'll get a few red dots for that joke.
  13. I like the idea of another independence party on the list but I don't like the idea of this one. Although to be fair I don't much like the SNP either.
  14. It's a close run thing in Aberdeen South and North Kincardine. Ross Thomson territory.
  15. Any Aberdeen player gets my backing, same as any Aberdeen manager gets my backing. That doesn't mean I'm massively optimistic about this. ps. As an aside, I should really like Scott Brown because I know and like his Dad. Grew up near him and played football with him and his brother a lot. Good lad (for a jumbo) It was Brown's step Dad that took him down the wrong path by going to Ibrox with him
  16. Well that's depressing. Purely for football reasons, it would be a good signing. His history with us means it will not be. And the AFC banter years begin in earnest.
  17. Is there a site giving an indication of the best tactical vote for each area? Edit: I know it's generally SNP/Green but was wondering where that isn't the case.
  18. You can have capitalism without the greed. In an ideal world (where we're free to choose ) There aren't many examples of this but I do believe it would be possible.
  19. https://inews.co.uk/news/scotland/rishi-sunak-chancellor-popularity-scotland-coronavirus-response-furlough-scheme-574049 +7. Possibly the only Tory with a positive rating. Free money does make you popular. (No such thing obviously but in the mean time he's popular)
  20. I'm never one for sacking managers but I could see that his time was up. I was just worried about the ability of Cormack to find a manager to maintain the level of mediocrity that McInnes gave us. I've seen the years of poor appointments lasting a couple of years and then changing for more of the same to be a bit wary of an unproven manager and a very unpopular assistant/player coming in. I really hope I am wrong and it proves to be an inspired appointment bringing a trophy, top 3 finish and a European group stage. Obviously not in his first year because with this form, we're not qualifying for Europe. Edit: Forgot to answer your last question. I wasn't over the moon with McInnes appointment but I certainly didn't have the sense of dread that I have just now. I will always back the manager until we sack the manager.
